Accepted abstracts are required to be presented in person at the 2023 Annual Meeting in Boston, MA.

A non‐refundable submission fee will be charged for all abstracts: $200 for abstracts submitted by non‐members and $100 for abstracts submitted by members. PhD Candidates, Interns, Junior Residents and Fellows, and Students (Medical or Graduate) may submit their abstract at no charge. The submission fee is based on the first author's training and member status.
2023 Emerging Science Abstracts
Abstracts qualify for Emerging Science presentations by having key aspects of research conducted after the October abstract submission deadline and must be new and of sufficient scientific importance to warrant expedited presentation and publication. These previously unpublished abstracts contain timely, significant, and innovative content.
Emerging Science Key Deadlines
- December 5, 2022: Emerging Science submission site opens for late-breaking abstracts
- February 1, 2023: Emerging Science abstract submission deadline at 11:59 p.m. CT
- March 6, 2023: Emerging Science abstract notifications sent via email to first authors
- April 21, 2023: Emerging Science embargo lifts at 12:01 a.m. ET which corresponds to 11:01 p.m. CT on April 20.
- April 22-27, 2023: 2023 Annual Meeting in Boston, MA
