ASE’s Scientific Sessions are the premier international conference devoted specifically to cardiovascular ultrasound in clinical patient care. It is a vital event for practicing echocardiographers and offers a full spectrum of educational events including symposia discussing novice, intermediate, and advanced techniques. Research featuring leading cardiovascular ultrasound experts is also highlighted. The program is an opportunity for all interested healthcare practitioners to explore contemporary issues and emerging developments in the field of cardiovascular ultrasound. All levels of practitioners will find sessions that meet their needs, help improve their practice, and benefit their professional growth.

General Information

• Authors do not need to be ASE members to participate.
• 提要提交费/A non-refundable $30.00 (thirty U.S. dollars) processing fee is required for each abstract submitted, payable online only. Purchase orders, checks, and electronic bank transfers will not be accepted. This fee covers administration and online costs associated with the submission, grading, notification, and slotting processes. This fee is non-refundable whether the abstract is accepted for presentation or not. There are no exceptions.
• All expenses (e.g., submission, conference registration, airfare, lodging, etc.) associated with the submission and presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the presenter.
• Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author(s) to present if accepted. Failure to register for the meeting and present the accepted work, if not justified, will jeopardize future acceptance of abstracts by ASE.

Weyman Young Investigator’s Award Competition for young investigators under the age of 40, and the Brian Haluska Sonographer Research Award Competition for sonographer investigators who served as the primary investigator on their project. Finalists in both competitions receive support to attend the conference and are eligible for monetary prizes. ASE 2021 will also continue its Top Investigators recognition for a special group of highly graded studies, which includes travel support for their lead investigators.
• International Recognition – The winner of the Arthur E. Weyman Young Investigator’s Award Competition will be invited to present their research at the 2021 European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and 2022 Japanese Society of Echocardiography annual meetings.

Early registration rates for ASE 2021 Scientific Sessions Virtual Experience will be available until 11:59 PM ET on May 20, 2021. Starting on May 21, 2021, all registration rates will increase by $50 (except for the abstract registration categories). Registration will close completely at 11:59 PM ET on August 31, 2021. This will give participants enough time to access all the content and claim CME credits before the content expires on the virtual platform. All session content is available on-demand until September 15, 2021.
