2020年第32届国际环境流行病学协会(ISEE)年会/虚拟会议将于2020年8月24-27日，本次会议由乔治华盛顿大学(GW)主办，预计将有1000余名来自世界各地的代表参会。

Dear ISEE Community,
The COVID19 pandemic has an immense global impact and has claimed many casualties. Our deepest condolences go out to the people who have lost a loved one and to the people who have suffered during this pandemic.
To protect people’s health and wellbeing, this year we will have to cancel the in-person conference scheduled for August in Washington DC and instead organize a virtual meeting for 2020. We are very grateful for all of the work done by Drs Melissa Perry, Carlos Santos-Burgoa, and Pauline Mendola, as well as George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health for organizing and launching this year’s annual conference. We will build on that work to turn it towards the virtual meeting, and we are all committed to making this new format a resounding success.
Our goal is to offer a virtual meeting that is dynamic and (almost) as full as our in person event. As we embark on this new endeavor, it will require us to be creative and discover elements that allow us to come together as an international society to share our scientific discoveries, interact with our colleagues, provide training opportunities, and continue to improve environmental health policy worldwide.
Advancing environmental health in a changing world has never been more important. We want you to be a part of this meeting and help us shape our future. And, we will use this virtual conference to test and evaluate new platforms that can make our conferences greener, more accessible, and more affordable while still fulfilling our society’s mission.
Please note, all submitted abstracts -including the late breaking ones- are being reviewed for the virtual conference. The acceptance letters and further information about the virtual conference will be shared soon.
We will be sending out announcements and new timelines to keep you informed. A brand-new website is also being prepared for the virtual conference which would be online very shortly. While the preparations for this new website are still going on, you may refer to our ISEE society website for basic information (such as the registration fees for virtual conference) through the link given at the top and bottom of this page.
In the meantime, we count on you to provide the support and commitment to make the virtual conference happen. We can do this together (while keeping two meters apart).

Welcome!
The 32nd Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE), hosted by the George Washington University (GW), is expected to attract more than 1,200 participants from around the globe and aims to support ISEE’s intent to positively impact quality research, training and policy worldwide. The program chairs selected the theme “Advancing Environmental Health in a Changing World” to heighten the importance of translating human environmental health science into action amid global changes in climate, geopolitics, and demographics.
