2021年第33届国际环境流行病学协会(ISEE)年会将于2021年8月23日至26日举行，本次会议由哥伦比亚大学梅尔曼公共卫生学院主办，预计将有1000余名来自世界各地的代表参会。

Dear friends, colleagues, ISEE Community,
It is our great pleasure to announce that the 33rd Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology / ISEE 2021 will take place on August 23-26, 2021 as an online conference, hosted by Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, New York, United States.
This year, acknowledging the key role of equity and diversity in science as well as recent transitions in the political, social, and environmental climate, the theme of the conference is "Promoting Environmental Health and Equity in a Shifting Climate."
Due to pandemic circumstances which are still affecting the physical conditions related to an in-person component of the conference, the Local Organizing Team, together with ISEE's approval, has given the decision of going completely online for this year's conference as well.
We invite you to be a part of this online meeting and help us shape ISEE’s future together.
Following our experience last year on a virtual platform, we continue the journey to make our conferences greener, more sustainable and more accessible, while fulfilling our society’s mission: to foster epidemiological studies on the effects of environmental exposures on human health, stimulate communication between environmental epidemiologists, exposure experts, and other public health professionals, promote methodological advances, and strengthen environmental health policy.
This year with the improvements on the virtual platform, we will have more possibilities to create interaction for our participants. While cancelling the in-person component of the conference, we are still keen on keeping New York City feeling as a part of the virtual platform and hope that our participants will still have the chance to "virtually" experience New York City.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in August 2021.
