On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is our great honour and pleasure to extend our heartfelt invitation to the 12th International Congress of the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC 2026), with the theme "Innovation, Collaboration and Resilience in IPC: Adapting to a Rapidly Evolving World". The congress is scheduled to take place in the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, from July 30th - August 2nd 2026.
This congress is organised by the Malaysian Society of Infectious Disease & Chemotherapy (MSIDC) and Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) , in collaboration with Malaysian Society of Infection Control and Infectious Diseases (MyICID), The Infusion Nurses Society (INS), Infection Prevention & Control (IPC), Infection Control Association Malaysia (ICAM), Persatuan Kawalan Infeksi dan Antimikrobial Kota Kinabalu Sabah (PKIAKKS), and is supported by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).
We are thrilled to host APSIC 2026 in Malaysia for the second time, welcoming the infection prevention and control community to the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur. The theme "Innovation, Collaboration, and Resilience in IPC: Adapting to a Rapidly Evolving World", reflects the dynamic and ever-changing landscape of our field. The challenges we face are increasingly complex, yet, with each challenge comes an opportunity to innovate, to collaborate more effectively, and to build resilience within our systems. Our theme for APSIC 2026 reflects our commitment to these principles and underscores the need to adapt swiftly and effectively in a world that is constantly evolving.

Cancellation and Replacement Policy
Any cancellation or change of your registration must be done in writing to the APISC 2026 organiSer and will be subject to the following conditions:
Cancellation of participation by the participant
On or before 31 May 2026: 50% refund of fee.
After 31 May 2026: NO refunds will be issued.
All refunds will be processed after Congress concludes.
Name changes/replacements
The name change will only be possible for confirmed and paid registrations. Substitution of name is admissible 1 time only per delegate.
On or before 31 May 2026: replacements or name changes can be made free of charge.
After 31 May 2026: replacements or name changes are subject to a 20% administrative fee.
Non-attendance/no-show
Should a registered delegate not be able to attend the congress, for whatever reason, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.
