Please follow these guidelines carefully

• Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Word count only includes the text body of your abstract.
• All abstracts should be written in English, including the title, abstract text, names of the authors, affiliations, and table, figure, or graph.
• Authors may edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of the abstract. There will be no additional editing after the deadline.
• It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
• A confirmation letter of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitter, presenting author and corresponding author by e-mail upon completion of on-line submission. The contact details you provide must coincide with those of the presenting author and corresponding author, Otherwise the presenter will not receive important information about the allocated session(s).
  If there is no confirmation letter after abstract submission, please contact the secretariat, kddwinfo@medioffice.or.kr
• Presenting authors must register for the conference through the website by September 30 (Sat), 2023
• Abstracts should be submitted in English even if the session is in Korean. Session details will be informed later with the acceptance notice of your submitted abstract.
• Case report can also be submitted.

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to the Korea Digestive Disease Week 2023 (KDDW 2023), hosted by the Korean Society of Gastroenterology. The KDDW 2023 will be held between November 16 (Thu) and 18 (Sat), 2023 at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul, in Seoul, Korea. In this congress, eight-member societies (the Korean Society of Gastroenterology, the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver, the Korean Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility, the Korean Pancreatobiliary Association, Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research, Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases, and Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Cancer) and an associated society (the Korean Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition) will gather together under one roof for the KDDW 2023.

Under the theme of “Breakthroughs in Gastroenterology & Hepato-Pancreatology: Translating Knowledge into Practice,” the best yet professors, doctors, and distinguished leaders from all over the world will get together at the KDDW 2023 to discuss the imminent issues, exchange the latest expertise, and envision the future of the digestive disease. The Scientific Program will propose a series of high-quality scientific sessions that will provide deeper knowledge and new perspectives. The program will serve as a highly rewarding international platform for participants, and we have no doubt that KDDW 2023 will contribute to the advancement of digestive disease.

As travel restrictions due to COVID-19 have been dramatically lifted in the past months, the KDDW 2023 Organizing Committee is expecting greater attention from Congress and a larger number of participants than anticipated. We also offer many awards and grant programs to all participants to partake in the KDDW 2023 and enable all to stand together in solidarity.

Please mark your calendars and join us in the KDDW 2023 this November. We look forward to having the pleasure of welcoming you all to the KDDW 2023 and Seoul.
