CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Scientific Programme Committee invites you to submit an abstract for consideration in the programme. Both Physicians and Trainees, may submit abstracts to be considered for presentation at the IMSANZ Conference, Melbourne 2024. All abstracts will be reviewed by the committee for inclusion in the oral presentations and poster sessions at the conference. Please note there are limited spaces available in the programme. 

Though the IMSANZ Conference 2024 is a hybrid event, ALL presentations, oral and posters, are to be presented In-person. Details will be provided if you are selected to present. 

Please note:

1. The submitter of the abstract must be the presenter at the conference.
2. The submitter must have the permission of all authors to present the research.
3. The submitter must register to attend the full conference and pay the appropriate fee. 
4. Should you wish your presentation to be considered for an award you must be a IMSANZ member or intend on becoming a member.

GENERAL INFORMATION
All abstracts should be original research. Broadly this could also include an audit, a case report, or a description of a new innovation in health services delivery or education. However, the onus is on the author to demonstrate the significance of any work offered for this conference. 

- All presenters must register, attend and pay the appropriate fee to be eligible to present at the conference. 
- All abstracts should have a maximum word count of 300
- The deadline for submission is ​31 May 2024.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we're excited to extend an invitation to the 2024 Australasian IMSANZ Conference, taking place in Melbourne from Wednesday 4th to Saturday 7th September 2024. This event will offer both in-person attendance at the venue and online participation from anywhere you choose.

This year's conference boasts a dynamic program, featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities. Under the theme of "Digital Health," we're embarking on a journey to explore the diverse landscape of digital health innovation, including the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare. However, we've also made sure to reserve space for the most traditional sessions, including clinical updates and research presentations.

Join us to expand your horizon of knowledge and enhance your professional skills alongside your peers. Engage in interactive discussions, make new connections, and broaden your network while discovering new insights and updates in your field.

The conference kicks off on Wednesday 6th September with a dedicated day for trainees and new fellows, followed by sessions open to all as we prepare the next generation of clinicians. The event concludes on Saturday with a variety of workshops.
