Open to current postgraduate students (MSc or PhD) and professionals in the early stages of their research career, typically within 5 years of completion of their specialty or doctoral studies.
REGISTRATION:
You may submit your Original Article without being registered for the congress. The presenting author shall be registered to make their presentation during the congress.
If your paper is accepted, the presenting author will have access to the early bird rate until August 6, 2026, to register for the congress. Details will be provided in notifications.
ABSTRACT LIMIT:
There are no restrictions on the number of abstracts an author can submit or present at the conference.
LANGUAGE:
Abstracts shall be written in English. Abstracts that are not in English will not be evaluated.
If you are not proficient in English, it is advisable to seek assistance in composing your abstract. Substandard English writing may serve as grounds for rejection.
Once the abstract is accepted, the PowerPoint (for oral presentation), the E-Poster or the Printed Poster and their respective presentations must be in English.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Use clear language, avoiding complex characters or formulas.
The title must be brief, concise, and in CAPITAL LETTERS.
The outline must have a Background (with objective), Methods, Results and Conclusions.
A statement defining the purpose of the work to be presented at FIMS Chile 2026.
Description of the action research method or ways of overcoming a challenge in the case study.
Five or six keywords relating to the topic should be supplied along with the abstract.
WORDS LIMIT:
The limit is 2,500 characters for the text of your abstract including spaces and title.
EVALUATION:
To preserve the peer review process, do not include any information (e.g., authors’ names or institutions) in the body of your work.
Follow the instructions on the screen to access the submission form. Complete all fields on the form.
TOPIC:
You should select the appropriate topic from the following options:
- Exercise Science
- Physical Activity
- Sport Injuries
- Active and healthy aging
- Women and exercise
- Children and adolescents
AUTHORS:
Please enter the names of the authors in the order in which they should appear in the header of the paper.
It is the responsibility of the individual submitting the manuscript to accurately provide the complete names of all co-authors, which will be reflected on the certificate as submitted (subject to acceptance). Additionally, author and co-author details must include each contributor’s first and last names, their department, institution or hospital, city, state (if applicable), and country.
The presenter of the paper shall be a co-author. It is not permitted to edit the list of authors after the deadline for receipt of abstracts.
*The organization will not edit the authors’ data or the content of the abstracts
Confirmation of receipt of the paper will be sent to the email address provided.
The contact author will receive all notifications related to the paper and will be responsible for informing the co-authors of its status.
Emails:
We recommend that you do not use institutional emails that you may lose access to; always use personal emails that you have easy access to and that do not jeopardize access to your account and information.
REVIEWING YOUR ABSTRACT:
Review your paper carefully. Make sure that all special characters and formatting appear correctly in your final proof. If you find any errors, return to the corresponding page to correct them. It is the author’s responsibility to submit the paper correctly.
FINAL SUBMISSION:
You can log in with your username and password to edit your paper as many times as you wish while it is in OPEN status and before the submission deadline. Once you have finished editing, you must click on FINISH ABSTRACT for it to be considered for evaluation, and you will no longer be able to edit it.
It will NOT be possible to make modifications to the title, text, or authors after the abstract submission deadline. We emphasize that the information provided is the sole responsibility of the author submitting the abstract. Once the abstract is finalized, the party responsible will receive an automatic confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please log in again and ensure it is submitted properly.
CANCELED papers will not be considered for evaluation.
For any withdrawals, the presenter should notify the organizer in writing at least 20 days prior to the event.
NOTIFICATIONS:
Will be sent by email on July 17th, 2026.
The decision of the Evaluation Committee will be final and there will be no instances of review of the evaluation.
The Evaluation Committee will decide on the type of presentation.
PRESENTATION:
For accepted abstracts, the presenting author shall present the paper in person on the day and at the time assigned at the Congress.
The final presentation must cover the same material as the abstract.
References and Citations are not allowed in this submission but will be accepted when presenting at the congress.
-Oral Presentation: your notification will contain the instructions to produce your PPT. Once at the venue, there will be a room for speakers to deliver their PPT files. We do not receive PPT presentations via email.
-E-poster Presentation: your notification will contain the instructions to produce your E-poster. Must be sent via email before the deadline: July 30, 2026.
-Printed Poster: your notification will contain the instructions to produce your Printed Poster. You must bring your Printed Poster to the congress.
CERTIFICATE:
If accepted, ONE certificate will be issued per paper, listing all authors in the order they were submitted.
Oral Presentation: only this presenter will have a certificate with his/her name about this presentation in the Scientific Program.

FIMS RECOMMENDATIONS
Before submitting your work, please note the following:
- Take time to write: Be sure not to leave writing your abstract until the last minute before the deadline. Proper planning will allow you to submit a more complete and higher-quality paper.
- Read and follow the instructions: To increase your chances of selection, it is essential to comply with all the guidelines and requirements set out in the initial instructions provided by the evaluation committee. This includes aspects such as the format of tables and figures, as well as any other specific details indicated in the guidelines.
- Review the English wording: Remember that papers shall be submitted in English. Assess your language skills and, if necessary, seek help from competent reviewers to ensure the accuracy and quality of the English writing in your abstract.
- Clarity and scientific rigor: Make sure your abstract is clear, concise, and focuses on the most important aspects of your research. Maintain a focus on scientific rigor and, when presenting clinical cases, highlight practical lessons for the specialty.
- Comply with thematic requirements: Ensure that your abstract is aligned with thematic areas and methodologies relevant to the Congress. Ensure that your work fits the specific categories announced for the event.
- Planning and review: Do not underestimate the importance of thorough planning and review. Take the time to review and correct your abstract before submitting it. This will ensure the quality and accuracy of your presentation.
- Maintain high ethical standards in the presentation of scientific work.
- Final review: Before submitting your abstract, perform a final review to ensure that it complies with all the guidelines and recommendations mentioned above.
