Method

All the abstract submissions must be completed via official online system before the deadline. Please first create your own account to proceed with the submission. Before the deadline, any abstract can be saved as draft and be edited within the system before the submission. After the deadline if not submitted, drafts will be deleted.

Rules & Regulations

Before submitting any abstract, you are requested to read the rules and regulations:

1. Abstract(s) may NOT have been published previously at the time of presentation of the congress.
2. All submitted abstracts must be original. Any abstract violating copyright laws and/or including plagiarized content will be rejected.
3. The copyright of the abstract(s) is assigned to Asia Pacific AKI CRRT Congress (APAC) and Taiwan Society of Acute Kidney Disease (TAKD). Any conflict with any other scientific association will be the sole responsibility of the author(s)
4. All abstracts that are published, including figures and tables, are the property of Asia Pacific AKI CRRT Congress (APAC) and Taiwan Society of Acute Kidney Disease (TAKD), and are protected by copyright.
5. The author(s) grants the permission to reproduce his/her image (including photos) to create documentation to be published on the internet (including streaming) and to make the audio/video recording (synchro recording system), and photographs of the presentation to produce educational materials. The presentation will be reproduced in full compliance with its contents both in terms of scientific results and information, associated with the image and the data of the undersigned.
6. The APAC 2026 Scientific Committee reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations.

Abstract Guidelines

1. All abstract(s) MUST be submitted in ENGLISH, including the title, text body and author’s affiliations.
2. Only abstract submitted via the congress system will be considered.
3. Authorship: Each quoted author should have contributed substantially to represented work in terms of conceptual design or analysis writing of article and final approval of the article in order to take public responsibility for the content.
4. Format: Oral presentation / Poster presentation
5. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract, neither in different categories nor presentation format.
6. Size: The size of each abstract shall NOT be more than 2,500 characters (including body of abstract and spaces).
7. Figures: Upload of pictures/graphics is only possible as jpg file and each picture/graphic maximum size 2MB. Upload of the maximum of ONE picture/graphic is allowed for each submitted abstract. A collage of multiple pictures is NOT allowed, because of readability.
8. Authors: Type full family name and first name of all authors, only omitting any title, degrees, and institutional affiliations. Each abstract is permitted with 10 co-authors, including a maximum of 1 presenting author.
   
9. Affiliation: Type the name of the institution, department, city and country in English.
10. Body of the abstract: please format each abstract using the following structure:
    • Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
11. Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
12. Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content.
13. To preserve the peer review process, submissions may not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers or other identifying information in the body of your abstract.
14. Editing: Abstract bodies will be published as submitted. After submission deadline, there is no possibility to edit the abstract anymore.
15. Withdraw Abstract(s): If you want to withdraw the abstract, please send an e-mail before June 30th, 2026 to hello@apakicrrt2026.com

Author Rules

1. Each submitter may submit up to THREE abstracts. Only abstracts of presenting authors who have paid their registration fees by the Abstract Author Registration Deadline July 15th, 2026, will be scheduled for presentation and included for publication of the 7th Asia Pacific AKI-CRRT Congress (APAC 2026).
2. If no presentation is delivered during the oral or poster sessions, the abstract will be withdrawn.

Travel Grant

1. The amount of the travel grant is USD 500.
2. If you would like to apply for the travel grant, please select “Yes” in the “Apply for International Travel Grant” field within the Abstract Submission Form.
3. The Secretariat will send the application form to applicants for completion.
4. The Organizing Committee of AP AKI CRRT 2026 will review the applications and notify applicants of the results accordingly.

We would like to invite you to join us for the upcoming 7th Asia Pacific AKI CRRT Congress 2026 (AP AKI CRRT 2026) in Taipei.

To improve the care quality and prognosis of acute kidney injury (AKI) in the Asia-Pacific region, the Asia Pacific AKI CRRT Congress has been launched since 2017. It is a great honor for us to host Asia Pacific AKI CRRT Congress, again in Taiwan, and we aim to broadcast up-to-date knowledge of AKI treatment and provide a platform for regional experience exchange.

With its strong expertise in AKI research and clinical practice, Taiwan leads the Asia-Pacific in advancing multi-center collaborations and care models tailored to Asian populations. Hosting 7th AP AKI CRRT Congress provides a vital platform to share Taiwan’s achievements, shape regional AKI management guidelines, and foster international research partnerships to reduce the burden of AKI.

In addition to plenary lectures, interactive workshops, panel discussions and poster sessions in the field of critical care nephrology, AKI and CRRT, the 7th Asia Pacific AKI CRRT Congress will highlight some special issues regarding the impact from our environment, including:

1. Big Data and AI for AKI Prediction and Management
2. Acute Kidney Disease (AKD): Bridging AKI to Long-term Kidney Health
3. Resilience and Sustainability in Critical Care Nephrology
4. Integrating Biomarkers and Technology for Personalized AKI Management
