Please read the submission rules before submitting an abstract.

• Summaries will be collected by online abstract system.
• ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED BY EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
• Abstracts may be submitted for oral presentation or poster presentation.
• Presenting authors must be registered participants. Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees will be scheduled for presentation and included for publication.
• The same person may serve as presenting author on up to 5 abstracts.
  Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in the official meeting publications.
• All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university specific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
• Only abstracts with results will be accepted for review. Abstracts stating “data will be discussed in the presentation” will NOT be accepted.
• Note: Abstracts that have been previously submitted to a national congress may also be submitted to ECIM 2023. However, those that have been submitted to an international congress may not be submitted again.
• The Scientific Committee will make the final decision as to whether the abstract will be accepted for presentation, with consideration given to the author’s preference.
• Academic titles should not be used in author names.
• Summary; purpose, method, findings, conclusions and key words.
• The abstract must not exceed 250 words, excluding the full title, title, author’s name, surname, including references.
• The names and addresses of the institutions in which the authors work should be clearly indicated.
  Ex: Xxxx University Faculty of Cehmistry, Xxxx Department of XXXXX, City
• Abstract title – must be in UPPER CASE and limited to 25 words. Please submit symbols as words.
• You may enter up to 3 keywords.
• If an abbreviation is used in the abstract, the abbreviated name of the abbreviation should be specified in parentheses.
• Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content.
• Submissions may not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers or other identifying information.

ECIM 2024 will offer fantastic opportunity to explore the complexity in internal medicine – from bench to bedside, our slogan for this year.

ECIM 2024 will bring together physicians, researchers, and experts from a wide range of specialties to share knowledge, expertise, and ideas on the latest advances in the field of internal medicine.

The theme of this year’s conference, “Complexity in internal medicine – from bench to bedside,” speaks to the challenges and opportunities that face healthcare professionals in this rapidly evolving field. From the latest breakthroughs in clinical research to the development of new technologies and treatment modalities, internal medicine is a field that demands continuous learning and adaptation. ECIM 2024 will provide a platform for you to engage with these topics and come away with new ideas, insights, and skills that will enhance your own practice.

During ECIM 2024, you will have the opportunity to attend a diverse range of sessions, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops. The scientific program will also provide the young -and not only- colleagues with a great opportunity to present their work, research and clinical experience through oral presentations and posters covering all the fields of Internal Medicine.

** In order to register under these categories, an official document to verify your status must be uploaded during the online registration process. Young Internists must send proof of age (up to 35 years old) – Copy of identity card is required.

*** In order to register under the Fellow Category, you will need to confirm your Fellow ID number during the registration process.
