CRT2024 - Cardiovascular Research Technologies Annual Conference

Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) is a leading educational forum on new cardiovascular technology and procedures for physicians and health-care professionals. CRT provides a forum for exemplary education for interventional cardiologists, general cardiologists, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, catheterization laboratory managers, nurses and technologists, scientists and those with an interest in cardiovascular medicine.

The annual CRTmeeting features focused educational and training sessions that discuss new trial data, explore evidence-based research and demonstrate the most up-to-date techniques that can be directly applied to clinical and academic practices. It consists of concurrent meetings in six main areas of interest— Coronary, Valve and Structural, Endovascular, Technology and Innovation, Atherosclerosis and Research, and Nurses and Technologists. CRT attendees have the opportunity to share ideas and knowledge, collaborate on interventional cardiology solutions, receive interventional cardiology training, and network with other professionals.

Recognition

• Top abstracts will be presented orally at CRT 2024, and the presenting authors will be listed as CRT 2024 Associate Faculty. Associate Faculty will receive complimentary registration, subscription to Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine, CRT Premium and access to the Faculty Lounge at the Washington Hilton Hotel.
• CRT 2024 accepted abstracts meeting the eligibility requirements will have the opportunity for publication in the following journals:
  • Online publication in JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions
  • Printed publication in Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine, the official peer-reviewed journal of CRT, indexed in MEDLINE/PubMed

Abstract Policies and Procedures

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

• There is no fee required to submit an abstract to CRT 2024.
• There is no limit to the number of abstracts a person may submit.
• All abstracts must be submitted in English.
• Do not include Title or Author information in the body of your abstract; these are separate fields you will complete in Oasis.
• Abstracts should be structured as follows: Background, Methods, Results and Conclusion. 
• Abstracts should briefly describe the objectives of the study, statement of methods and findings that support conclusions.
• Abstract grading is blind, and abstracts are selected based on merit. Clarity of expression will be considered in the review process. The overall quality of language used should assure comprehension by the reader.
• Your abstract should not contain more than 2,200 characters (not including spaces).
• A figure or table equals 600 characters and is included as part of the 2,200-character limit.
• Figures and images must be uploaded separately. Supported formats are JPG and GIF.
• All abstracts submitted are disclosed to members of the Peer Review Selection Committee, the accredited provider, and MedStar Washington Hospital Center employees and contractors as necessary, in connection with CRT 2024.
