Submission Guidelines

The International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) seeks original papers that address scientific questions, demonstrate new research/developments, or contain original scientific results related to the treatment of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

The abstract is limited to 700 words or less and must represent original work, although previously published work may be used to fulfill this requirement. Titles, authors, and affiliations are excluded from the total word count. Submission of isolated case reports and hypotheses unsupported by data is discouraged. iwCLL reserves the right to reject any abstract for failure to comply with publication guidelines. Encore abstracts will be permitted; however, those abstracts published or presented before April 6, 2023 will not be accepted. Late-breaking abstracts will also be permitted but only for poster presentations. 

Abstract submissions must be made electronically, through the submission page found HERE. The deadline for abstract submission is May 31, 2023. You must withdraw abstracts before August 1, 2023. After this time, all accepted abstracts will be included in publication. In the case of abstract acceptance, the presenting author (or a coauthor substitute) must be in attendance (live or virtual) to present during the meeting. All accepted abstracts will be reprinted for distribution in the online journal, Leukemia and Lymphoma. The XX iwCLL meeting will include oral presentations for a select group of outstanding submissions and oral poster presentations, and a poster session for those accepted as a poster. Works accepted as oral presentations and oral poster presentations will receive complimentary registration to the main iwCLL meeting for October 7-9. Abstracts accepted as oral presentations to the Young Investigator Meeting (YIM) will receive complimentary registration to the YIM being held on Friday, October 6.

International Workshop On CLL

It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the biennial International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (XX iwCLL 2023) to be held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, October 6 – 9, 2023.

For more than 40 years, the iwCLL has focused on bringing together international leaders in the understanding and treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

The 2023 assembly will present the most up-to-date results emerging from clinic- and laboratory-based research about the pathobiology and treatment of this still incurable disease. The information presented will focus on the development, progression, treatment, and evolution of CLL.

As always, the iwCLL will provide presenters a forum to share critical updates while providing attendees an opportunity to actively engage with presenters, make important connections, gain insight into the latest treatment strategies, and leave inspired to continue advancing the care of patients with CLL.

More information about how to participate in and help advance our work in CLL—as a participant, presenter, sponsor, or exhibitor —will be available on the website in the coming months.
