Key dates and deadlines

Guidelines for abstract preparation

• Abstracts must not be longer than 2’500 characters (text and table included; title, authors’ list and spaces not included).
• The title must not exceed 150 characters (spaces not included).
  The names of cooperative study groups should appear in the title, as they cannot be included in the authors’ list.
• There is no limit to the number of listed co-authors.
  The presenter’s name will be underlined. All authors will be listed with first and middle name initials, surname, institution, department (if provided), city and country.
  Please note that, in order to properly group the authors by affiliation, the same information for institution, department, city, and country fields must be entered.
• All abstracts (except for ongoing trials abstracts) should include the following four sections:
  - Introduction
  - Methods
  - Results
  - Conclusions
• One image or table can be submitted, as a separate file (not embedded in the abstract text).
  The system accepts only one file, up to 50 MB.
  JPEG, GIF or PNG files can be uploaded, with the following resolution criteria:
  - Graphs and tables: 800 dpi preferred; 600 dpi minimum;
  - Images: 300 dpi minimum.
  Images and tables not adhering to these requirements and images without readable text will be removed from the Abstract Book without further recourse to the first author.
• Compounds should be mentioned with the generic name in lower case. Commercial names must not be used.
• Abbreviations are permitted but terms must be spelt out at their first mention and followed by the abbreviation in parentheses, i.e. International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML).
• Once the abstract has been submitted, corrigenda (corrections, rewording or amendments in the text and change of order in the authors’ string) will not be possible.

ICML welcomes you back in Lugano

The International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML) was first held in 1981 in Lugano, and since then it has never failed in providing an unique opportunity for the international community involved in the research and treatment of hematologic malignancies to share, debate and update their knowledge and expertise.

On behalf of the 17-ICML Organizing Committee and the Advisory Board, we are very proud to present the preliminary program of the next ICML, taking place in Lugano from June 13 to 17 2023. The Conference will take place in an in-person setting but a virtual participation will still be possible for those attendees who are unable to reach Lugano.

The program will address the state-of-the-art on the biology, pathology and management of lymphoid neoplasms. Sessions will include the extremely popular Clinical Case Discussions and Meet the Professor, in addition to general sessions, Focus-on and educational sessions.

We strongly encourage the submission of abstracts on all aspects of biology, pathology and treatment of lymphoid neoplasms, including CLL and multiple myeloma. All submitted abstracts will be evaluated and the best ones selected for oral or poster presentation with the help of our world-renowned reviewers.

More than ever, following the 2021 virtual edition, we look forward to welcoming the international lymphoma community once again in Lugano for another exciting ICML!
