This meeting focuses on all aspects of oncology nursing and our ability to impact patients, families, communities and nations through clinical practice, education, health policy, leadership and research. Through scholarly discourse, networking and collaboration among oncology nursing educators, practitioners, researchers, and leaders from across the globe, ICCN showcases the remarkable work and dedication of nurses involved in cancer care.

Submit your oral or poster abstract
- Abstracts are accepted in English only.
- The maximum word limit for Abstract title is 10 words (excluding spaces)
- The maximum word limit for Abstract text is 300 words
- No images or tables allowed
- Abstracts must be submitted through the submission portal
- There can be only 1 Presenting Author.
- The first author must be the Presenting Author
- There is no limit to the number of co-authors.
- Submitting an abstract does not register you for ICCN2023
Submission Limits:
A maximum of three oral presentations per Presenting Author will be accepted. Each submission must address a different abstract topic (regardless of presentation type)
Format for Oral and Poster Abstracts:
Abstracts must contain brief but complete statements of:
- Purpose
- Background/Significance
- Project Description or Research Methods & Evaluation or Analysis
- Results/Findings/Outcomes
- Discussion and Implications, Impact and/or Usefulness
Format for Instruction Session:
Instructional Sessions must contain brief but complete statements of:
- Session Purpose
- Proposed Instructional Content
- Instructional Method(s)
- Relation of topic to conference theme
- Learning Objectives – minimum of 2
- Presenter Information – maximum of 3 presenters
Plenary Session Option:
A few abstract presentations may be selected to be part of a 90-minute plenary session
