Limits
The abstract can be up to 5000 characters long (including spaces). In order to meet this requirement, we kindly propose that abstracts should be prepared in MS Word and copied into the abstract submission system afterwards.
Structure of the abstract
The abstract must be submitted in English and It should contain the following sections:
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
In the textbox for captions, put all your figure captions under each other, each clearly labelled with “Fig. 1”, “Fig. 2” and so on. The captions can together be a maximum of 1000 characters. If you don’t have any figures, type “no figures” in the text box.

If your abstract contains tables or images, they can be submitted in .png or .jpg format. Up to four figures can be attached to the abstract, with maximum size of 2 MB each. Make sure they are uploaded so that the figure number matches the captions in the main text.

The organizing committee will review the abstracts and notify the authors by end of June.
Dear colleagues, dear friends,
Entering 2023, we are finally in the year of the first in-person ESMRMB annual meeting since 2019! We are happy announce that the meeting will be held in Basel on 4-7 October. The fully packed three-day program will in addition to your scientific contributions consist of educational sessions, collaboration session, plenaries and of course the hot topic debate. The 4th of October is dedicated to is dedicated to pre-congress meetings, in parallel with targeted educational sessions. Look out for further announcements about the program and abstract deadline shortly!
