55th Annual Meeting Greeting

Welcome to the 55th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons. This event will be held for the first time in Quito, Ecuador, South America. The City of Quito, Luz de America is declared as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO. The organizers are working with great enthusiasm to make your stay in Ecuador an unforgettable one. You will attend an event which will include activities such as tourism, re-encountering after Covid 19, sharing and friendship. The attendants will enjoy various touristic wonders that our country offers such as The Center of the World, The Galapagos Islands, the subtropical forests, the Volcano Route and the colonial, cultural and historical cities, together with scientific activities and pleasant moments of relaxation. The great hospitality, we offer to all those who attend the Annual PAPS Scientific Meeting will guarantee the visit to be worthy.

2022 PAPS MEETING REGISTRATION FEES

• 1 - Must be a member in good standing and dues PAID at time of registration
• 2 - Must be a trainee, resident, or medical student
• 3 - Must reside and practice in Central or South America
• 4 - Companions are guest of the attendee. Price includes welcoming reception, daily breakfast, conference tour (with lunch), and conference dinner. This does not include coffee breaks or lunches other than the conference tour on Tuesday.
• 5 - PAPS recognizes some pandemic related safety requirements posed by certain countries may hinder an individual's opportunity to attend the 2022 PAPS meeting in Quito. PAPS will continuously monitor the situation and will create an exemption list of nations where remote (virtual) access will be granted. Please note: the option to attend via remote access will be granted only to individuals who reside in those countries where the national policy of that country makes attending in-person challenging or prohibitive. The list is based solely on the National policy of a given country and not on any individual's personal preference or hospital policy.
