第13届国际额颞痴呆大会(ICFPD)/第2届国际额颞痴呆学会大会将于2022年11月2-5日在法国里尔举行，会议国际额颞叶痴呆症学会(ISFTD)组织。本次会议的重点是介绍与额颞痴呆(FTD)防治有关的新数据，涉及临床、神经心理学、神经影像学、遗传学、生物流体标记物、分子生物学、神经病理学、动物模型和治疗等关键领域。

International Conference on Frontotemporal Dementias (ISFTD2022)

The International Conference on Frontotemporal Dementias (ICFTD) is now well recognized as the primary venue for the synthesis, exchange, and dissemination of research evidence related to FTD, where experts from diverse backgrounds share recent discoveries, insights, and opinions. This allows novel hypotheses to be generated, research collaborations to be established, consensuses to be developed, training opportunities to be explored, and knowledge to be translated across disciplines.

The caregiver session provides a unique opportunity for new scientific knowledge to be shared directly with stakeholders (patients, families, caregivers, community organizations, and health care policy makers) and, of equal importance, allows these stakeholders a rare opportunity to provide direct feedback to the medical and scientific community. By holding the caregiver session concurrently at the same venue as the scientific conference, the public is able to interact directly with the experts and become engaged in the process of knowledge translation.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

Please note the submission rules before submitting an abstract:

• Make sure your abstract follows the guidelines for Abstract content and format (see below)
• Abstracts need to be submitted via the online submission portal (coming soon) by the deadline of June 1st 2022 (23:59, WET). Abstracts submitted by post, fax or email will not be considered.
• The submitting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission. 
• Only one abstract submission per person is allowed. 
• Submission of an abstract automatically implies acknowledgement of the submitting author that the work described was conducted in accordance with current ethical standards and regulations in medical research.
• Abstracts should be submitted and presented in English.
• Changes to an abstract will not be permitted once the submission deadline has passed. 
• Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee. Abstracts which include ethical concerns, do not meet scientific standards or include work not sufficiently relevant for FTD can be rejected. Notification regarding abstract acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the submitting author by email.
• All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published via the Conference website.
• Please note that the presenting author is not automatically registered by submitting an abstract.

Non-registered authors will not be permitted to present their work at the conference. Only accepted abstracts with a presenting author registered with will be included for publication.

Content and Format

• Abstracts will be evaluated by the Local Organising Committee and the Scientific Program Committee.
• Abstracts must be allocated to a specific category. Please select the category from the list below that best matches the focus of your study. This will be used to organise the abstracts for the purpose of review and presentation.

However, the reviewers may assign the abstract to a different category that they feel is more appropriate.

- Behavior
- Biomarkers
- Genetics
- Clinical trials and management
- Neuropathology
- Bioinformatics
- Basic science, cellular and molecular biology

• The abstract should be no more than 250 words in length and should be divided into several paragraphs as shown below: 

- State of the art
- Methodology
- Results
- Conclusion

• No tables or images are allowed in the abstract.
• If references are essential, they should be within the text using the format: (Murphy et al. BJU Int 2005; 95 27-30).
• Required authors’ details:  

First and presenting author: name (last name and first initial), affiliation details (organisation/institution, suburb/city, state and country) - Details such as email and postal address will be requested in the abstract portal

• Co-authors: name (last name and first initial), affiliation details (organisation/institution, suburb/city, state and country)
• The abstract recommended template can be downloaded (coming soon) to be used as a guide. If you are unsure about the layout of your abstract, please contact the ICFTD secretariat. 
  Submitted abstracts can be edited any time prior to submission deadline on June 1st 2022 (23:59, WET).

The registration fee must be paid at the end of your registration. It will be possible before October 1st to change the format of your registration (from face-to-face to virtual) with a refund of the difference or to cancel your order with a full refund. After October 1st, the modification or cancellation of your order will allow a refund of the difference or of the totality of the registration after the holding of the event provided that the balance of the event is positive.
