Dear Colleagues, 

It is my great honour to invite you to the 22nd Euretina Congress in Hamburg, Germany from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th September 2022. The meeting will take place at the recently renovated, state-of-the-art Congress Centre Hamburg (CCH), which is ideally located close to the bustling centre of Hamburg.  

While the scientific content will be streamed to facilitate virtual participation for those who need it, we strongly encourage you to join us face-to-face, along with our speakers, as we reunite for the first time after the isolation and disruption of the last two years.  

The programme in Hamburg will span four days and boast a cutting-edge scientific programme. Selected content has been submitted by our own Society members and reviewed by experts on our eight new Subspecialty Section Committees. 

This year’s Congress will also see a much-awaited return to our in-person exhibition, and we are grateful to our industry partners for their commitment and enthusiasm to return on-site. We will also host surgical skills training courses and live poster presentations for the benefit of face-to-face delegates. There will be an increased focus on networking and social events this year, which will be tailored to both members and delegates, in a bid to make up for the missed opportunities since our last face-to-face Congress in Paris 2019. 

Early registration will open in April for both face-to-face and virtual delegates, while programme information will be updated as it is finalised, so do keep an eye on the Euretina website for news and developments.

• Registrations cancelled by 13th July 2022 will be refunded 80% of the registration fees.
• Registrations cancelled between 14th July and 10th August 2022 will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.
• Registrations cancelled after 10th August 2022 will not be eligible for a refund.

Failed visa applications: Cancellations from delegates after a bona fide failed visa application will be refunded the registration fee providing the registration department is notified before 31 August 2022.Notification must be received in writing to the Registration Department for refunds to be eligible.
