Information for the submission of abstracts to the 28th European Symposium on Urogenital Radiology:

• The first author and co-authors must be listed with name, surname, and workplace. However, the content of the abstracts must not include the centre of origin. The appearance of this information may lead to the rejection of the abstract.
• At least one of the authors must be registered for the 28th ESUR Symposium before 20th September 2022. Otherwise, the paper will not be accepted.
• The author giving the presentation must be registered for the Symposium.

Abstracts for Electronic Presentation may have either Scientific or Educational content. Each of them will have a different structure:

• Scientific Electronic Presentations will be structured as: Objectives, Material and Method, Results, Conclusions.
• Educational Electronic Presentations will be structured as: Teaching Objective, Review of the topic and Conclusions.
• The abstract must have a maximum of 300 words without tables and images.
• After evaluation by the Organising and Scientific Committee of the Congress, authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of the paper, as well as the final presentation format, before 15th September 2022.
• Once notification of acceptance has been received, authors will have until 27th September 2022 to send the poster in electronic format. At this point, the text can be updated, and the corresponding images and tables can be added.

Awards

• The best poster and best two oral presentations will be awarded an ESUR prize certificate and a complimentary registration for the ESUR symposium 2023.

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR), it is my great pleasure to invite you all to attend the upcoming 28th Annual Meeting of the ESUR. It has been a long time since the last onsite ESUR symposium and we hope that we will meet in person in Athens, in October 2022.

The upcoming meeting will be built on the success of previous ones, providing a rich and diverse assortment of lectures, demonstrating developments and innovations in urogenital diagnostic and interventional radiology, presenting research activities and facilitating exchange of experience and ideas.

Athens, the host city for the course is one of the oldest cities in the world, considered to be the birthplace of democracy, arts, science and the philosophy of the western civilization.  Nowadays, under the shade of the Acropolis, the contemporary urban scenery of the sprawling city reflects its exciting history, its multi-cultural modern personality as well as its infrastructure and facilities.

I hope this meeting will be a great opportunity for everyone to improve their scientific knowledge and to enjoy visits and sightseeing of our beautiful city.

Cancellations sent by email and reception confirmed before September, 13th, 2022, 80% of the fee will be remboursed.
