Online Abstract Submission

GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS:

• Extended deadline for Submission of Abstracts: 13.06.2022. Abstract submission system will close automatically at the end of that day acccoring to Central European Time.

• Abstracts must be submitted in English.

• All abstracts will be submitted as an e-poster. The most significant and original abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. Please indicate in the system, when submitting your abstract, if you wish to have your abstract evaluated for an oral presentation.

• Please note that at least one author of each abstract should register for the conference. Registration deadline for accepted abstracts is 30.06.2022. Abstracts submitted without any corresponding conference registration by this date will be withdrawn and will not be published in the Neuroradiology Journal Supplement.

• Each submitting author may submit only one abstract to the conference. Please remember that the online abstract submission system does not allow more than one abstract submission per submitting author.

• Please do not submit multiple versions of the same abstract.

• The submitting author will be informed by e-mail about the acceptance of his/her abstract soon after the evaluation process is complete.

CONTENT:

• The abstract should contain the title of the paper, the names of the authors and their departments and affiliations (including the cities and the countries), and the e-mail address of the submitting author.

· Preferably the abstract is structured and contains the headings Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion & Conclusion.

• Please note that the abstract system does not allow submissions exceeding 400 words.

• It is possible to include tables, images or graphics in your abstract.

• Please use only standard abbreviations. If necessary, please place special or unusual abbreviations in parenthesis after the full word appears for the first time.

LIST OF TOPICS:

• Abstracts must be allocated to one the following topics:

- Diagnostic Brain

- Interventional

- Pediatric

- Spine

- Head & Neck

• Please prepare the content of your abstract and paste it to the online form.

• A minimum of 3 keywords must be submitted related to the abstract

• Once the abstract is submitted, the system does not allow to make any more changes.

CO-AUTHORS:

• Each author can add an unlimited number of co-authors while submitting the abstract. The author will be asked the name and the email address each co-author.

• The co-authors will receive an automatic email asking them to register to the online abstract system.

• In case any co-author does not register, their names will not appear on the abstract.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:

The submitting author will be informed by e-mail about the acceptance of his/her abstract soon after the evaluation process is complete. This will be done by 20.06.2022 at the latest. Note that this is close to the early registration deadline. It is the responsibility of the submitting author to register for the conference according to the registration fee deadlines and no exceptions will be made.

SELECTED ORAL PRESENTATIONS:

• The Scientific Committee selects abstracts for oral presentation to be presented in a scientific session of the program based on quality and topic.

E-POSTER AREA:

• All other accepted abstracts will be displayed as electronic poster. Detailed instructions for uploading the poster on the e-poster system will be sent after the acceptance of the abstract.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my great honour to welcome you in Lisbon for the next European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR) Annual meeting.

This meeting will provide an excellent learning experience and the opportunity to be and work together. The annual meeting and advanced course programmes are designed to address a wide range of topics from different neuroradiology diagnostic and interventional fields and for different levels of expertise.

Individualized and precision neuroimaging will be the main topic of the advanced course. The pre-congress course will address value-based neuroimaging and imaging department management. The use of advanced individualized neuroimaging together with the artificial intelligence tools will allow better clinical outcomes and higher levels of medicine-based value standards. We have gathered a faculty of several distinguished speakers, from all around the world, to provide a comprehensive programme that will cover the most important modern neuroimaging topics and latest innovations in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. It was also designed to accommodate a larger number of scientific presentations for better knowledge exchange and active participation of all. In this meeting we will have a task force for the young neuroradiologists. There will be a dedicated room with a program suggested by young Neuroradiologists.

This year we welcome Greece! The ESNR meets Greece with a special session devoted to Greek Neuroradiology. It is also our intention to take this opportunity to show to all participants of the congress, some of the Portuguese traditions, culture, art and history.

We have chosen a splendid venue to host the annual meeting. It is located at one of the most beautiful Lisbon areas, at the Tagus riverside, close to important world heritage monuments and with a spectacular landscape scenario. It is also a very wide space with large rooms having all the conditions to hold the meeting safely. Lisbon is recognized by the hospitality, safety, authenticity, multicultural atmosphere, intermixing old customs, ancient history, heritage monuments, new architecture, cultural and social entertainments.
