ESMO TARGETED ANTICANCER THERAPIES CONGRESS 2022

The home of Phase 1 in oncology
In light of the high number of COVID-19 cases and concerns about the new SARS-CoV-2 variant, ESMO has made the decision to hold the ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress 2022 as a virtual event only, with no in-person participation in Paris.
The safety of our faculty and delegates remains our top priority at this difficult time.
We are confident that our virtual format will effectively disseminate the latest advances in phase I oncology trials and give experts from all around the world the chance to identify promising new research avenues.
ESMO TAT 2022, known as “The Home of Phase I in Oncology” will offer participants a glimpse of the future of targeted anticancer therapies, focusing on promising new anticancer targets and agents, with a particular focus on those in early phase clinical development.
Stakeholders from academia and industry will discuss with clinicians, researchers, and regulators the global dissemination of knowledge and clinical research expertise in the field of innovative cancer therapeutics, to the benefit of cancer patients worldwide.

Presentation and publication of abstracts accepted for the TAT 2022
The TAT 2022 Scientific Committee will select abstracts for presentation during the Congress and determine the format of the presentations from the following possibilities:
- Proffered Paper – Oral presentations by authors presenting original data of superior quality, followed by expert discussion and perspectives.
- Mini Oral – Short oral presentations by authors presenting data of good quality, followed by expert discussion and perspectives.
- Poster – Display sessions for review, discussion and questions. Presenting authors must be available for Q&A for one hour to represent their work.
All accepted abstracts will be published as a supplement to the official ESMO journal, Annals of Oncology.
Publication schedule for accepted abstracts
- Abstracts accepted for presentation at TAT 2022 as Poster will be published online on the ESMO website at 12:00 CET on Thursday, 3 March 2022.
- Abstracts accepted for presentation at TAT 2022 as Proffered Paper (oral presentation) and Mini Oral will be published online on the ESMO website at 12:00 CET on Monday, 7 March 2022.
- The publication schedule of abstracts with a different release will be available 10 days before the Congress.

Travel Grants
A restricted number of travel grants to TAT 2022 are available, upon application, to first author (= presenter) of candidates under the age of 40 who submit abstracts considered deserving of recognition. Selection will be made by the TAT 2022 Scientific Committee on a competitive basis from among the accepted abstracts.

Individual registration will remain open for the duration of the meeting. The ESMO Congress Secretariat must receive one completed registration per participant and the corresponding payment in EUR by the given deadlines.

**** Small Biotech: To be eligible for the small-biotech fee, your company must be actively developing oncology-related technology and not have any products on the market, as evidenced by information on the company’s website. Delegates claiming the small biotech fee must provide:

- Website URL
- Company (not private) email address
Webcasts
The Congress webcasts will be available for all delegates and will include all the sessions of the official programme where speaker permission is granted. Once the virtual platform is closed, the on-demand content will be transferred to OncologyPRO and will be accessible to all registered delegates, non-Members for 24 months. ESMO Members who do not register for the Congress will have access to the resources 2 months after the end of the Congress.
Confirmation
By end-February 2022 delegates will receive the registration confirmation email and instructions on how to access the ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress 2022.
