Abstract Type

Only the "Research Presentation" (allowing a classic oral presentation of 6 minutes followed by a discussion) abstract type is available for this submission period.

Abstract language and editing

All abstracts have to be submitted in English. Please make sure that your abstract is appropriately structured and checked for English spelling and grammar. By following all instructions, you ensure that our language and editing standards are met, thereby making your abstract reader-friendly.

If you wish to edit or withdraw your abstract after the submission, please contact the abstract submission team at abstracts@myESR.org.

Submitter/Presenter

The abstract has to be submitted by the presenting author. The presenter will receive all notifications and is responsible for the oral presentation.

Duplicate submissions

If you have already submitted your abstract for ECR 2022 (accepted or rejected), please do not submit it again! The submission of duplicate abstracts will lead to the immediate rejection of the abstract(s) involved.

Case Reports

Case reports will not be accepted. We recommend submitting case reports to the ESR's teaching case platform EURORAD at www.eurorad.org.

Decision Notifications

Decision notifications (acceptance or rejection) will be sent by email to the presenter in May 2022. The presenter must confirm the invitations for oral presentations within the timeframe indicated in the notification letter.

ECR 2022 Registration Fees (onsite and/or online attendance)

All ECR 2022 ticket holders are eligible to attend both events in March (online only) and July (onsite & online). Already purchased tickets have been updated to reflect this and no further action is required from your side.

1. Registration grants the right to access ECR 2022 online from March 2-6 and to attend ECR 2022 onsite and/or online from July 13-17 in Vienna
2. Preliminary rates, may be subject to change

All fees in EUR; 20% VAT included 

According to § 3a (11) and § 3a (11a) Austrian VAT Act registration fees for conferences are taxable in Austria. Austrian VAT must be invoiced to individuals and companies, regardless of their individual VAT registration (applicable to EU & non-EU countries). 

Please note that registration fees do not include travel expenses, hotel accommodation, social events or food.

Registration as Member
Member tickets are only available if ESR membership 2021 was settled by August 31, 2021. The age limit for the registration as young trainee is set at 35 years (incl. the age of 35).

Registration as Student
Undergraduate students without academic title under the age of 30 can register for reduced fees. A scan of your student-ID and passport is required – please send your proofs to studentproof@myesr.org. Please note that the student registration will not allow you to gain CME credits.
