Notification of Abstract Status

All individuals listed as Submitting Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by email. Reviewing should be finalized by early August and notifications will be sent by August 8 to the email address provided for the abstract submitter at the time of submission. If an abstract is not selected for presentation, the presenter may request a full refund of the registration fee.

Presentation and Publication

The titles and presenting authors of all regular abstracts scheduled for presentation at this conference will be available online prior to the conference. With the exception of abstracts selected for a conference press program (if applicable), all conference abstracts will not be available until the Conference App is released in late September. Abstracts will be available online as a supplement to the AACR journal, Cancer Immunology Research, within 2-3 months of the conference. Every effort will be made to reproduce the content of the abstracts as submitted, except in certain circumstances where changes may be made to comply with the conference style guide.

Poster boards dimensions will be provided in email correspondence to the Submitting Authors.  The organizers will provide poster numbers and pushpins.

From the accepted posters, a small number of highly rated abstract authors will also be invited to deliver short oral proffered presentations of their work during the general sessions.  All abstracts will be considered.  Instructions will be sent to the Submitting Authors with the date, time, and format for these presentations.

Conference Registration

Presenting Authors must register for the conference and attend the session in which the abstract is scheduled to discuss the research in detail, according to the specific guidelines of the session. prior to the submission of an abstract. If an abstract is not accepted, the presenter may request a full refund of the registration fee.

Request for Withdrawal

Once an abstract has been submitted, it may be withdrawn only by written request from the Submitting Author.  The request may be sent by email to abstracts@cancerimmunotherapyconference.org and must be received by August 29.

If due to unforeseen circumstances the designated Presenting Author is unavailable to attend the session to present the abstract, the Submitting Author must contact abstracts@cancerimmunotherapyconference.org to designate a co-author to serve as the Presenting Author. If no authors are available to present the abstract, the Submitting Author must withdraw the abstract immediately by emailing abstracts@cancerimmunotherapyconference.org.

Submission

Abstract may only be submitted through the online abstract submission platform. Only those abstracts that have been reviewed and selected by the Scientific Planning Committee may be presented. Please be sure to carefully check your abstract for content errors, spelling, names, etc. before submitting. The organizers do not proofread or correct spelling, typographical, grammatical, or scientific errors, nor can changes be made once the abstract is submitted. Refund Policy
Requests for refunds must be made in writing to info@cancerimmunotherapyconference.org. There will be a $75 processing fee for cancellations received before August 30, 2022. After August 30, no refunds can be given.
