Dr Nikki Mutch, President of the BSHT and the BSHT committee are delighted to announce that the BSHT will be hosting their Annual Scientific meeting in person in Aberdeen in January 2022 at the new and impressive P&J Live (just 5 mins from Aberdeen airport and rail station).
The meeting will take place over two days with an opportunity for early career attendees to meet the evening prior and start making valuable networking connections. More details to be provided.
The meeting will include the usual plenary talks, clinicians in training session, presentations by emerging fellows and summer students as well as oral communications, posters session and exhibition.
Aberdeen is well connected and is two flights from almost anywhere in the world including 45 UK flights per day.
Located in the city centre, a short 15 minute journey from P&J Live, the railway station connects Aberdeen to the rest of the UK with a wide range of direct connections. Aberdeen is the latest destination in Scotland to benefit from the arrival of the world-class Azuma trains which are transforming travel for customers and communities along the East Coast route. Board the Caledonian Sleeper from London Euston – which runs 6 nights a week – in the evening and wake up in Aberdeen.

** Registration criteria for trainees:
If you are a student registered for a higher degree (e.g. MPhil, PhD, or MD), a junior doctor or a biomedical scientist in training, evidence of registration or a supporting letter from your head of department or section manager should be provided in all cases.
