Message from the President of ASCI

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI), it is my great honor to welcome you to the 15th ASCI Congress of 2022. The congress will be held in a hybrid format in Hong Kong SAR, China, from Friday to Sunday 24th to 26th June of 2022. Hong Kong hosted the 5th ASCI congress in 2011, which was a very successful meeting and a milestone for both scientific exchange and having the biggest number of participant in ASCI history. We believe that our ASCI colleagues in Hong Kong have full of experience and enthusiasm, and thus are more than ready to hold this important annual meeting.

Except for the missed 2020 convention due to the pandemic of COVID-19, ASCI congress has been held for 15 consecutive years. Just in this past August of 2021, the 14th ASCI congress was successfully held using the new virtual meeting technology in Vietnam. We do hope the pandemic of COVID-19 will die out soon, but this virus cannot stop us from joining the 15th ASCI congress in Hong Kong.

The theme of ASCI 2022 is “Cardiac Imaging Beyond the Images”. The congress will provide lectures, refresher courses, hands-on workshops, symposiums, and scientific paper sessions, et al. The same as before, the sister societies will support and join this congress, including the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR), North American Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (NASCI), Society of Cardiovascular CT (SCCT) and Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR). Invited speakers from those sister societies will give talks to strengthen the scientific program. Even though some of the participants will be unable to attend the conference due to the pandemic, the committee is still preparing to enrich the content and set up an excellent platform for international scholars to communicate.

On behalf of all of you, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the congress presidents, Dr. Lilian Leong and Dr. Andy Wai-Kwong Chan, and the local organizing committee members of ASCI 2022. Thank all of you for the hard work and the tremendous efforts and contributions to the forthcoming 15th ASCI congress. We also take this opportunity to thank the industrial sponsors for making cardiovascular imaging go forward endlessly to a brighter future. Let’s embrace dream and expect success for the ASCI 2022 in Hong Kong.

SAME registration fee for physical and virtual participation.

The payment of registration fee is processed in Hong Kong Dollar (HKD). United States Dollar (USD) is for reference only.
# Verification letter or valid student identity card issued by qualified institution is required to be eligible for the undergraduate or entry level student rate.

• The Main Congress will be held physically at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. 
• Capacity for physical participation is limited due to the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation of the HKSAR Government. Physical attendance will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.
• In case of changing Government's regulation under a worsen COVID-19 situation, the organiser reserves the right to change confirmed physical registrations into virtual participation. Final decision will be announced when closer to the Congress.
