Abstract Submission Guidelines

-Authors have the option of choosing their presentation type (outstanding abstract session, oral, poster).
However, the scientific committee will make the final decision after review.

OAS: Selected original articles that is not presented in int'l conferences; Presented in English

- Selected presentations who demonstrate the highest levels of scientific and clinical impact will be recognized by scientific committee. In this session, original articles that is not presented in international conferences are required.

- Prize money will be awarded to each presenters of Outstanding Abstract Session.

-All abstracts must be submitted online.

-Abstracts must be written in clear English.

-Encore abstracts (previously presented in other international conferences) can be submitted.

-The abstract body/text should be structured into the 4 sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions.

-The abstract body may be no more than a maximum of 250 words.

-Ensure that your abstract is grammatically correct and free of typographical errors.

-Please check the presenting author when you type the author information online.

-If you want to modify or review your abstract, you can do at '‘My Page-Abstract Submission.”

-The right to publish your abstract is granted to the AOS 2022 Organizing Committee.

-Presenting authors must register in the congress through the website by April 30, 2022 (KST).

Notification of Acceptance

• -All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures.
• -Abstract acceptance will be notified by email to presenting authors on the notification date.
• -Outstanding abstracts will receive an award! For further details, please refer to the Awards page.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

• -If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by the pre-registration date,
  the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
• -If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please notify the AOS 2022 Secretariat
  (abstract@aos2022.com) by email as soon as possible.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great delight that we invite you to join us on the momentous occasion of the 2nd International Congress of the Asian Oncology Society (AOS 2022), in conjunction with the 48th Annual Meeting of the Korean Cancer Association, to be held on June 16-18, 2022, in Seoul, Korea.

After a successful launch as a unified organization of the APFOCC (Asian and Pacific Federation of Organizations for Cancer Research and Control) and ACOS (Asian Clinical Oncology Society) in 2019, the AOS has now become the most authoritative and representative organization of oncology societies in Asia. Most noteworthy, in the face of the challenge of COVID-19, the AOS successfully held its first international congress (AOS 2020) in November 2020 virtually.

In 2022, we are confident that we will overcome this pandemic and finally meet in-person at AOS 2022. Following in our growing success, we truly believe AOS 2022 will be the best place for all our participants, from world-renowned speakers to young investigators to clinical and basic researchers in the field of Oncology, to collaborate and to build relationships into the next stage.
