2022年第15届亚洲超声医学与生物学联合会大会(AFSUMB)暨第30届印度超声医学与生物学联合会(IFUMB)年会(USCON)将于2022年11月11日至13日在印度海得拉巴举行，本次会议由由印度超声医学与生物学联合会(IFUMB)主办。来自亚洲各地的众多教授、博士和杰出领导人将齐聚一堂，以讨论近期出现的热点问题，交流超声医学和生物学领域的最新信息，预计有来自世界各地的2500余名专业人士与会。

Dear friends

IFUMB is inviting you to the 15th congress of the Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology (AFSUMB). It is after a gap of 12 years that we are hosting this congress again, at Hyderabad, India from 11th to 13th of November. The venue is the famous Hyderabad International Convention Centre and Novotel Hotel.

We are expecting 40 National speakers who have done great research in their speciality.

We are expecting 10 international speakers of great repute to share their knowledge. The theme of this conference is “Clinical Dilemmas and Ultrasound solutions”, Going with the theme, the focus of all the experts will be on giving practical ultrasound solutions.

The highlights of the conference will be “How I handle a clinical problem”, “Ask the professor sessions”, “case based discussions” and practical workshops.

It is planned to have a structured approach in all the specialities every day of the conference, few examples:

•  Fetal medicine how I do sessions, Hand held training in interventions and simulator based training.
•  Musculoskeletal –demonstration of imaging techniques, MSK interventions and case based discussions.
•  Gynaecology – Protocols and guidelines, Flow charts formulated
•  Breast imaging and interventions – Imaging and intervention tricks and tips.
•  Elastography- intricacies and its clinical applications from the best in the world
•  Applications of Ultrasound contrast.
•  Regular abdominal ultrasound workup
•  Vascular Ultrasound – workshop on technique, knobology

Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana state, and is also the capital of Technology industry in India. The city has a history of more than 400 years. Relics of the Qutub Shahi and Nizam Shahi rules remain visible today. Charminar has come to symbolise the city. The world's tallest monolith of Gautama Buddha, erected on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of Hussain Sagar is 58 feet tall. Hyderabad has a distinctive culture with its unique style of paintings, handicraft, jewellery, language, and literature.For its distinct cuisine, the city is listed as UNESCO creative city of gastronomy.

After a stressful, challenging two years of pandemic, it's time to meet and greet friends, enjoy the hospitality of Hyderabad and at the same time exchange ideas, share scientific knowledge and present your research. The emphasis of this congress (AFSUMB 2022) is on the practical, and therefore we are planning a plethora of workshops, case discussions and meet the professor sessions.
