DEAR MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETY, CONGRESS ATTENDEES, SPONSORING COMPANIES:
The purpose of this communication is to provide updated information about the 11th World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery congress scheduled to take place in Cancun Mexico, from June 9th to 12, 2021.
The COVID-19 pandemic is still active and has affected all countries in the world, including the academic activities and conferences. In recent months, many congresses were postponed or canceled. Our priority is the safety, well-being, and health of all attendees, members, associates, companions, exhibitors, and staff in carrying out our great academic event.
Based on the above, the WSRM Executive Council convened recently, and the details, advantages, and disadvantages for the holding of the congress in June 2021 were discussed. The conclusion was reached to postpone the 11th congress of the WSRM to June 1st to the 4th, 2022, in Cancun, Mexico.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you, your family and companions in 2022. We will continue to work hard with the commitment to offer a high-quality congress, complying with the highest standards, which have always characterized our congresses.
Dr. David Chang
President of WSRM
Dr. Eric Santamaria
