About the SRS Annual Meeting
The Scoliosis Research Society Annual Meeting is a forum for the realization of the Society's mission and goals, to foster the optimal care of all patients with spinal deformities. Presentations at the Annual Meeting are given by leading experts in the field and have value for health care professionals who treat spinal deformities at all levels and in all ages. Over 125 papers will be presented on an array of topics, including adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, growing spine, kyphosis, adult deformity, trauma, neuromuscular scoliosis, and tumors.
- During a five-year period, held in North America three times and outside North America twice.
- Approximately 1,500 attendees
- The latest and greatest scientific research, methods, and techniques in spinal deformity
- 4-day program including Pre-Meeting Course, Podium Papers, Half-Day Courses, Lunchtime Symposia, Industry Workshops, and E-Posters.
- Podium presentations are four minutes in length
- Minimum two-year follow up required for abstract submissions. The two-year follow up rule does not apply for categories of basic science or biomechanical studies or for topics where two-year follow up is irrelevant, such as 30 day re-admission rates.
- Topics focus on current scoliosis and spinal deformity research
The Annual Meeting is open to anyone involved in the treatment of spinal deformities including spine surgeons, residents and fellows, physician assistants, nurses, and other allied health professionals and researchers. The podium presentations, selected from over 1,600 submissions, will provide valuable information to all individuals caring for patients with spinal deformities.
All programming during the 56th Annual Meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis in Missouri.

Base Registration
The delegate base registration fee includes entrance to all sessions and breaks Wednesday through Saturday.
One-Day Registration
One-day registration is available for each day of the meeting at the following rates.
- Wednesday, September 22 (includes the Pre-Meeting Course): $500 / $250 Reduced Rate*
- Thursday, September 23 (includes Half-Day Course): $500 / $250 Reduced Rate*
- Friday, September 24 (does not include the Farewell Reception): $500 / $250 Reduced Rate*
- Saturday, September 25: $250 / $150 Reduced Rate*
*Residents/Fellows/Medical Students and Delegates from Reduced Rate Countries are eligible for the One-Day Reduced Rates.
Guest Registration
Guests must complete and submit a separate registration form. Admission to the Annual Meeting Sessions is not included in guest registration.
Option A on the guest registration form includes access to the Guest Hospitality Suite, which will include a continental breakfast Wednesday through Saturday and entrance to the Welcome Reception & Opening Ceremonies on Wednesday evening. A ticket to the Farewell Reception on Friday may be added to guest base registration for $50.
Option B on the guest registration form allows guests to register for only the Welcome Reception & Opening Ceremonies on Wednesday for $100 and/or the Farewell Reception on Friday for $175. Option B does not include entrance to the Guest Hospitality Suite and breakfast. Admission to the Annual Meeting sessions is not included in either guest registration option.
*Guests wishing to attend the Annual Meeting sessions should register as non-member, non-physicians utilizing the delegate registration form.
