SMFM's 2021 Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is the centerpiece of the Society's work and the premier event for learning about cutting-edge science in obstetrics and for connecting with leaders in maternal-fetal medicine.

Announcement from SMFM's President and Annual Meeting Program Committee Chair (October 12, 2020):
Like you, we have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and hoping for a downward trend in cases. Unfortunately, it has become clear that the opposite is true.
After considering your thoughtful input, and some of the challenges of safety planning for an in-person meeting at our contracted hotel, Caesar's Hotel in Las Vegas, we have decided that the 2021 Annual Meeting will move forward in a virtual format. Protecting the health and safety of SMFM members, meeting attendees, staff, and ultimately our patients is paramount, and the steady uptick in cases significantly contributes to our decision to not host an in-person event.
While it will certainly be different than the 40 meetings before it, the 2021 Annual Meeting will provide the same cutting-edge science, postgraduate courses, poster sessions, and networking events that you have experienced in the past. Later this month, we will open meeting registration and will provide additional details about the meeting format and pricing. At that time, you will be able to view the complete program. The Annual Meeting is always a special time of year to connect with old friends and meet the next generation of MFM leaders. We are committed to maintaining the sense of community and connections we've built over time. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support.
