VIRTUAL MEETING 2021
After much consideration regarding the many ongoing challenges being presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the leadership of the SID has made the decision to pivot the 2021 Annual Meeting to a fully virtual experience. Reduced space limitations at the meeting venue, travel restrictions, and the health and safety of all the attendees each played parts in this decision.
While we are disappointed not to be meeting in person in Chicago, we are confident that we will have the time and resources needed to provide you with a fantastic virtual event that will include live lectures, concurrent sessions, virtual poster and exhibit halls, interactive meeting rooms, a career center, and other educational programming.
It is more important than ever that we share the cutting-edge science and collegial interactions that are hallmarks of SID Annual Meetings. With sufficient time to plan, the 2021 SID Virtual Meeting will also allow those who may not have been able to attend in person, to do so in the convenience of their home, office, or lab.
The leadership looks forward to the day when we can be together in person once more. Until that time, the SID is committed to providing you with the strongest virtual event possible where we can share our science, maintain our interactions and collaborations, and continue to advance the fields of investigative dermatology and skin biology. |
