COVID-19 has changed our lives, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and its members are rising to the challenge at every turn. In this spirit, SCCM is adjusting the format of the 2021 Critical Care Congress to reflect the demands and realities of our new world.
The traditional Critical Care Congress, which gathers thousands of attendees to a central location, will not be held in Anaheim, California, January 31 to February 3, 2021. Instead, a virtual event is planned.
We are committed to delivering the same high-quality opportunities found at the Critical Care Congress, adapted to the needs of critical care professionals during these unprecedented times. The 2021 Congress will include:
Virtual presentations and online learning opportunities
Intimate small-group virtual roundtables with unprecedented access to leaders in the field
Late-breaking research in the form of abstracts and virtual Research Snapshot Theaters
Robust networking tools that will help you establish and nurture new relationships while you connect with old friends
Connect with colleagues, network and collaborate with critical care experts, and explore new tools, technologies and processes at the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s (SCCM) 49th Critical Care Congress. The Society’s Congress is the largest critical care event that brings together all members of the multiprofessional, multidisciplinary team. This four-day event will feature internationally renowned faculty and content sessions highlighting the most up-to-date, evidence-based developments in critical care medicine.
More than 5,500 critical care professionals attend SCCM’s annual Congress to discover the latest solutions and developments, medical advances, cutting-edge treatments, and breakthroughs in intensive care unit (ICU) administration and management.
Abstracts/摘要
Submissions for the 2021 Critical Care Congress are now open. The deadline to submit is noon Central Time on August 3, 2020.
Make your contribution to the advancement of critical care by submitting your original investigative research and case reports for the 50th Critical Care Congress. If accepted, your work will be considered for presentation at Congress. Abstracts will be published in the January supplement of Critical Care Medicine, the #1 critical care subspecialty journal. Individuals whose abstracts are accepted are also eligible for peer evaluation and awards. First authors who are SCCM members and non-full physicians at the time of abstract submission may be eligible for complimentary Congress registration.

SCCM members enjoy complimentary submission for Critical Care Congress. The fee for nonmembers is $25 per submission and is nonrefundable.

Your registration fee includes online access to Congress On Demand following the event, admission to all general Congress sessions, and the virtual Exhibit Hall.
取消政策/Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. All cancellations are subject to a $75 nonrefundable processing fee and must be postmarked before January 13, 2021, to be eligible for a refund. Any cancellation postmarked after this date will not be refunded. Exchanges and substitutions are not allowed at any time. Dates for the 50th Critical Care Congress are subject to change and/or cancellation. In the event of a change/cancellation, only individual registration fees will be reimbursed. Please allow four weeks to process refunds.
