OARSI 2021 Virtual Meeting Announcement

The health and safety of our members, speakers, and World Congress attendees is our number one priority. After careful consideration, and in light of the COVID-19 pandemic’s current trajectory, the OARSI Board unanimously made the decision to transition the 2021 World Congress to a fully virtual event to be held April 29 - May 1, 2021 (with Pre-Congress programming on April 28).
We recognize many members of our community are reluctant or unable to travel due to institutional mandates and other external factors, and this coming year’s virtual event ensures you won’t miss out on the latest osteoarthritis research. You’ll notice we’ve spread the program out over the course of a week and hope this adjustment will make it easier for you to attend.
We’re excited to share that OARSI will be significantly discounting the registration fee for the 2021 Virtual World Congress.
For 30 years, researchers in osteoarthritis have connected over exciting research updates and discussions of best practices at the OARSI Meeting and we are confident next year will be no exception.
OARSI’s 2021 virtual event brings education to you, when and where works best for you and physicians will be able to claim CME Credits for their participation. Attendees will be able to experience presentations with live Q&A. Additionally, registration will include the OARSI 2021 Meeting Recording package, so you can watch and re-watch sessions at your convenience and claim CME credits for programs you may have been unable to attend live.
Additional details will be available soon, and registration will open shortly, so be on the lookout for more exciting news about the OARSI 2021 Virtual World Congress.

Membership Types
- REGULAR: Health professional or researcher from a broad range of disciplines.
- ASSOCIATE/EMERITUS: Resident, fellow, post doc, research assistant, or individuals retired from the field. Verification from supervisor is required if still actively in the field.
- STUDENT MEMBER: Student enrolled full time in a basic entry-level program, or full-time student in a post-professional doctoral program. Must send a letter from department chair on university stationary stating enrollment status.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your registration and receive a refund, a written request with your registration confirmation and receipt card must be received by April 1, 2021. Please send your request to Janine Salabritas at jsalabritas@oarsi.org. Cancellation requests received by this date will receive a refund less a $75 processing fee. Refunds will be processed after the meeting. All requests received after April 1, 2021 will forfeit 100% of monies paid.
