国际口腔种植学会(ITI)世界研讨会将于2021年9月1日至3日举行。ITI世界研讨会是全球规模最大、最具影响力的口腔种植学会议，每三年举办一次。本次会议预计将吸引超过6000名与会者，他们是对口腔种植学感兴趣的临床、学术和研究领域的专业人士，包括颌面外科、修复学、牙周学、正畸学、普通牙科等广泛的专业领域。会议语言为英语，同时将通过移动应用程序翻译成中文、法语、德语、意大利语、日语、波兰语、葡萄牙语、俄语、西班牙语、土耳其语等（语言可能会根据需要更改）。

It’s been a year of chaos, confusion and change, even worse, it has been a year of loss for many and we will have to continue to live with the consequences for a while yet. Nevertheless, we are determined to inject a dose of normality into life and have started to work on bringing the ITI World Symposium 2020 to Singapore in 2021 in a slightly adapted version: Welcome to the ITI World Symposium 202ONE to be held from September 1-3!
The ITI’s flagship event is now finally on its way to Asia for the very first time. By choosing Singapore, we wanted to highlight the increasing importance of this region to our organization. We think that everyone will enjoy Singapore, not just as a congress city but also a great destination for some time off to relax.
The way we practice implant dentistry is driven by evidence-based technological and medical innovations, but an equally important aspect of treatment planning is the patient with his or her individual needs and life situation. For the upcoming World Symposium, we have decided to address this aspect head-on with the theme: Evidence & Trends for Patient-Centered Solutions: The Challenge of Choice. An outstanding faculty is taking up this challenge to deliver presentations that discuss the latest trends in implant dentistry through the filter of the patient experience.
You can look forward to lively and informative presentations that will be translated into at least 10 languages, more than 60 top international speakers along with expert moderators, fabulous congress architecture and a stimulating ambiance to take you through a packed three-day event.
To be sure, 2020 has been an important year for us for another reason – the ITI turned 40 and we had every intention of celebrating this anniversary with you at the ITI World Symposium. We have decided not to let the current chaos get us down so instead we are offering you our “40 years ITI” microsite that allows all of us to celebrate this birthday together virtually. Dip into our specially written history of the ITI, watch videos, follow the milestones timeline and upload your videos and best wishes.
Although our efforts to meet each other frequently on a virtual basis have been exemplary, we miss having the opportunity to meet face to face and now finally we are happy that we can again start planning to do so.
