2021年第22届IPOS世界心理社会肿瘤学大会将于2021年5月26日至29日以虚拟会议形式举行，会议由国际心理社会肿瘤学会(IPOS)与日本心理社会肿瘤学会(JPOS)联合举办。一年一度的IPOS世界心理肿瘤学和心理社会学术大会汇集了来自世界各地不同领域的专业人士，他们在国际层面上就改善癌症护理进行对话，并制定将心理社会问题纳入癌症控制各方面的战略。与会者包括但不限于心理学家、精神病学家、医生、护士、社会工作者、社会科学家、患者权益倡导者、教育工作者和管理人员、营养师、流行病学家、精神护理专家和职业康复专家。
国际心理社会肿瘤学会（IPOS）成立于1984年，是一个多学科的国际机构，旨在促进与心理社会肿瘤学相关学科的临床、教育和研究的国际交流。IPOS致力于通过多学科合作、研究、公共政策、宣传和教育等方式，为全球受癌症影响的人们提供更好的心理社会关怀，将心理社会治疗应用到临床肿瘤中，为患者提供最优质的护理。2014年IPOS与WHO建立官方正式关系(未经本站允许，禁止复制摘录转载本站任何内容-领域国际医学会议网)。
The annual IPOS World Congress of Psycho-Oncology and Psychosocial Academy brings together professionals in diverse fields from around the globe who dialogue about improving cancer care on an international level and developing strategies to add psychosocial issues to all aspects of cancer control. The attendees include, but are not limited to, psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, social scientists, patient advocates, educators and administrators, dieticians, epidemiologists, spiritual care specialists, and vocational rehabilitation specialists.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our privilege and great pleasure to invite you to join us for the 22th World Congress of Psycho-Oncology in Kyoto, Japan, May 26 - 29, 2021, which the Japan Psycho-Oncology Society (JPOS) host. The IPOS 2021 congress is strategically scheduled and followed by the 2020 Palliative, Supportive, and Psychosocial Care Joint Domestic Meeting. The 33th Annual meeting of the JPOS, the 25th Annual meeting of the Japanese Society for Palliative Medicine (JSPM), and the 5th Annual meeting of the Japanese Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (JASCC), all of which are scheduled directly following the IPOS Congress, August 9 - 10, 2020.
“Diversity, Dialogue, and Altruism to achieve universal psychosocial care for all” is our congress theme. The congress will focus on specific diverse symptoms, distress, and needs among patients, family, and healthcare professionals to achieve universal psychosocial care for all. Furthermore, the topics include genomic medicine, new drugs, such as immune-checkpoint inhibitors, implementation science, eHealth, aging population, disparity issues, training psychosocial care specialists to meet diverse needs, quality communication problems between patients and medical personnel, suicide after cancer, as well.
We are looking forward to providing exciting workshops on May 26, 2021 as part of the Psychosocial Academy. These are held by leading experts around the globe and offer a unique opportunity to deepen research and clinical skills with psycho-oncology researcher and specialists. Especially, 2021, with palliative and supportive care professionals as well.
It is one of the largest opportunities for an international society in psycho-oncology, providing up-to-date information and enabling scientists, clinicians, NGOs, administrators, and politicians to exchange useful information. Psychologists, doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, pharmacists, etc. are from over 50 countries. In particular in 2021, palliative care and supportive care professionals who are interested in psycho-oncology also participate.
You can see the hydrangea blooming everywhere in Kyoto in June. I am very much looking forward to welcoming you in the season when you can feel the taste of Kyoto more.

Participation Certificate
For those who attended the congress, the delegates will be emailed a link to complete a conference survey on May 29. Those that complete the survey can request a Congress Certificate of Participation towards the end of the survey. Requests for a congress certificate MUST be submitted via the survey by no later than June 30, 2021. Certificates will be issued by email in PDF format within 15-days of the request being received. Please note the IPOS office does not issue Workshop Certificates.
