The Abstract Submission Deadline is 16 December 2020.
All abstracts received for the 20th ESPD Annual Meeting 2020 will be kept for 2021 and unlocked for possible revision by their authors by the above mentioned deadline. If revised, the abstract will be subject to new evaluation.

General Information & Deadlines

1. Abstracts MUST be submitted electronically via the online submission system by the given deadline of 16 December 2020.

Abstracts received via fax, e-mail or received after the deadline will not be accepted and therefore will not be considered for the programme or publication.

2. Abstracts need to be submitted into the following topics:

• Atopic dermatitis
• Cutaneous markers of systemic diseases
• Dermatopathology
• Mucous and adnexal diseases
• Neurocutaneous diseases
• Neonatal dermatoses
• Rare skin diseases in children
• Skin diseases due to climate changes and migration
• Vasculitis and Vasculititis syndromes
• Other

3. All submitted abstracts will be considered for poster presentation only.

4. Once the abstract is “submitted” it can be changed until the Abstract Submission Deadline of 16 December 2020.

5. All abstracts will be reviewed by the ESPD Scientific Committee who will consider its formal aspects and the content. They will decide which abstracts will be accepted.

6. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book. Abstracts not suitable for display will be rejected. Please have your abstract checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar and formal structure. The organiser reserves the right to edit abstracts if necessary prior to the publication in the ESPD Annual Meeting Abstract Book.

7. All presenting authors will receive an acceptance/rejection notification via e-mail by 22 January 2021.

8. All presenting authors are obliged to register by 4 February 2021.

WELCOME

Dear Colleagues, 

The 20th ESPD Annual Meeting will be held as a virtual conference on the same dates and with the same programme as originally planned. This decision has been taken by the ESPD executive board as a result of the ongoing uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual meeting will have several key advantages.  For those of you who have already attended virtual meetings you will know that the possibility to attend all the parallel sessions by watching the recordings is a real bonus, instead of being torn between two excellent sessions running side by side in different rooms in a real meeting.  Similarly, the ability to be more in control of the speed of the lectures - to watch through again, or to stop and start them in your own time, can lead to enhanced learning.  We also hope to welcome delegates from further afield who would not have been able to travel to the venue itself.  Live streamed real time question and answer sessions will allow an interactive experience between the lecturers and the delegates. Last but not least, the registration fees have been reduced although the programme has remained the same, and we therefore hope to give you the best possible value for money!  We look forward to “seeing” you in our virtual space.

Online registration will be available until 1 May 2021.

Delegates/recipients of the service from the EU with a valid VAT number are subject to reverse charge system and the fee is with 0% VAT (to be paid by the recipient in his/her country). 
VAT is shifted to recipient, article 44 and 196 EU VAT Directive.
Valid VAT Number will be requested and validated during the online registration process.

Delegates/recipients of the service from a country outside of the EU, the fee is with 0% VAT. 

Delegates/recipients of the service from the EU who is not a VAT payer, the fee is including VAT.
