Welcome Letter
It is our pleasure and honour to invite you to the 19th European Congress of Internal Medicine (ECIM) taking place online from 18 – 20 March 2021. As a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic ECIM will be held virtually. We will offer the same great opportunity to acquire expert knowledge, learn and share successful experiences and discuss the latest breakthrough in the clinical areas related to internal medicine. The programme will include lectures, poster presentations, symposia, an exhibition and workshops.
During the three days, ECIM will bring together physicians, young researchers and leaders in the field of internal medicine, providing them with a lively platform to learn and share their knowledge and views. Scientific abstract presentations, educational sessions as well as cutting edge lectures given by experts in internal medicine will guarantee a memorable virtual event. From 18-20 March you can attend the congress live and for up to three months afterwards, you will have on-demand access to all sessions, lectures and the exhibition hall.
ECIM 2021 will focus on innovative developments and provide a comprehensive overview of state-of-the art treatment of common conditions in internal medicine practice. The slogan of ECIM 2021, “Internal Medicine in a pandemic world: when one size fits all”, reflects the importance of health promotion strategies in the context of disease management.
