AAPM is preparing an exciting annual meeting for this summer, which will be virtual again this year due to the pandemic. The virtual format of this meeting will provide outstanding scientific, professional, and educational content, along with an engaging real-time connection to a global conference audience.

The theme for this year’s meeting is “Creative science. Advancing medicine.” Physicists over the decades have contributed enormously to the development of modern medicine. This year’s meeting will explore the ways in which we can bring our creativity and scientific expertise to continue building medicine of the future. Our Presidential Symposium will focus on the topic of creativity in science, and our various meeting sessions will explore our roles as scientific innovators in both research and the clinic.

AAPM will provide five days of content through a NEW online platform, which will allow us all to safely share ideas, interact with colleagues and friends, and learn about innovative products. Also new this year: if you are unable to participate in everything presented in that five-day period, your registration fee also includes 12 months of access to content On Demand. That’s a full year to engage with the various aspects of our meeting. The first 6 weeks you will receive credit for content on the virtual meeting platform. After 6 weeks that content will be moved into AAPM’s Online Learning Center. You may subscribe and continue to receive credit for the latest science, clinical knowledge and professional development.
