AACE's Annual Meeting Overview
Each year, experts from the field of endocrinology convene to collaborate, learn and earn CME and MOC through a combination of state-of-the-art lectures and hands-on learning, engaging sessions, expert panel discussions, abstracts and more.
Who Attends AACE's Annual Meeting?
Attendees are comprised of medical professionals from the field of clinical endocrinology at all stages in their career including clinical endocrinologists, allied health professionals, medical students, residents and fellows in training. With a wide array of educational options and continuing medical education offerings, participants can select to attend the sessions that are most relevant to their practice.
SUBMISSION DATES
OPENS: November 24, 2020
CLOSES: February 2, 2021 No Exceptions. You will not be able to access your submission after 11:59 pm Eastern Time on February 2, 2021.
ABSTRACT NOTIFICATION
AACE will notify the primary author of the status of their abstract in mid-February 2021. It is the primary author’s responsibility to then notify all co-authors.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- WHAT IS ELIGIBLE FOR SUBMISSION?
- Abstracts may be submitted by AACE Community Members or non-members sponsored by an AACE Community Member.
- Abstracts describing original research, clinical trials, or case studies/series related to the area of endocrinology may be submitted.
- Abstract submissions must be an original contribution and may not have previously been published or presented at any national/international meeting(s) in the same format at the time of abstract submission.
- By submitting your abstract, you agree to present the abstract if it is selected for presentation during the Annual Meeting.
- All accepted abstracts will be published as an online supplement to Endocrine Practice.
- If the abstract reports on the results of a clinical trial not yet approved by a regulatory agency, you will be required to identify the trial phase.
- Authorship on multiple abstracts is permitted.
- WHAT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SUBMISSION?
- The same study should not be submitted as multiple abstracts. Abstracts that appear as more than one version of a single study will be rejected.
- Abstracts submitted for the late-breaking category cannot be submitted to another category.
- Submitting authors who are not AACE members or do not have an AACE Community Member sponsor will not be eligible to submit.
- Abstracts that have been previously published or presented at any national/international meeting.
