2020年第16届世界公共卫生大会(WCPH 2020)-线上会议将于2020年10月12-16日举行，会议由世界公共卫生协会联合会（WFPHA）、意大利卫生、预防医学和公共卫生协会(SItI)和欧洲公共卫生协会(EUPHA)合作举办，预计有4000多名公共卫生专业人士与会。

Public Health for the Future of Humanity: Analysis, Advocacy and Action
The 16th World Congress on Public Health goes virtual. We are ready for the challenge: Over 3,000 abstracts from 112 countries accepted, special congress track on COVID-19. Daily sessions from 6 am - 11 pm for all time zones. Live plenary sessions, live workshops, exhibition area, reduced registration fees. It is organized by the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) in collaboration with the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SItI) and the European Public Health Association (EUPHA).
The theme of the Congress remains Public Health for the Future of Humanity: Analysis, Advocacy, and Action, reflecting our firm commitment that we, in the global public health community, have an obligation to respond to the current Corona crisis and other emerging global challenges. As the world confronts the coronavirus, the sharing of science – especially the latest public health science – becomes ever more important, and the virtual WCPH 2020 is the event to do it. A dedicated COVID-19 track will be featured, covering the latest on the efficacy of policy measures, impact on health systems, etc. |

In October 2020, over 4,000 public health professionals, policy makers and students will meet in Rome, Italy, for the 16th World Congress on Public Health. It is organized by the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) in collaboration with the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SItI) and the European Public Health Association (EUPHA).
The 2020 World Congress on Public Health comes at a critical time for our planet. Several commentators, looking ahead over the next few decades, have warned that the very survival of humanity is at risk. This year, temperatures in the Arctic and Antarctic are far beyond what has been seen since records began, and there are real fears that we are reaching a tipping point. Threats to food and water supply, biodiversity, and in some parts of the world, the ability to survive in extreme temperatures, are leading to mass migration and conflict. Political structures, at national, regional, and global level, are struggling to respond. International agreements, on climate change, nuclear weapons, and much else, are being torn up.
The theme of the Congress, Public Health for the Future of Humanity: Analysis, Advocacy, and Action, reflects our firm commitment that we, in the global public health community, have an obligation to respond to these new circumstances. We must make visible the threats to health, some of which are already emerging. We must challenge and hold to account those with the power to make a difference. And we must act, making real our commitment to health in all policies.
Partners and supporting organizations include European Commission, WHO Regional Office for Europe, the Italian Ministry of Health, the National Institute of Health (ISS), the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), the Municipality of Rome, the Regional Government of Lazio, La Sapienza University of Rome, the Catholic University of Rome, Farmindustria, EuroHealthNet, ASPHER, EHMA, European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be notified in writing (by email) to the Registration Department (registration@thetriumph.com) according to the following policy:
- Cancellations received in writing by 29 May 2020 are entitled to 100% refund;
- Cancellations received in writing between 30 May 2020 and 12 August 2020 are entitled to 50% refund;
- Cancellations received on or after 13 August 2020: no refund.
NB: Low Cost fees, available until 31 December 2019, are NOT transferable. Cancellations by 29 May 2020: 100% refund. No refund after this date.
