COVID-19 Update: 38th World Congress of Endourology and Uro-Technology- Postponement
Dear Members,
Like many other organizations, the Endourological Society has been closely monitoring the ever-changing landscape precipitated by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the continued health concerns, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 World Congress of Endourology and Uro-Technology in Hamburg, Germany until 2021.
Please know that while many factors were considered while making this decision, the safety and well-being of our attendees and their families is our first priority. Additionally, as a medical society, we understand the impact of this epidemic on our member’s lives, their patients, and their professional schedules.
Planning a global medical event such as WCET takes a great deal of time from our members, presenters, supporters, and staff. We greatly appreciate all of the work that has gone into planning the 2020 program. To all who contributed in any way, we are truly grateful.
Additional information on the postponed WCET 2020, including registration refunds and the new 2021 date will be provided in the coming days and weeks.
We appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented time and are looking forward to a great program in Hamburg, Germany in 2021.
