To ensure the health and safety of all our attendees, CRF has transitioned the in-person conference to a compelling and unique virtual experience – TCT Connect – broadcast online October 14-18, 2020.

WHAT IS TCT?
The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) is a nonprofit research and educational organization dedicated to helping doctors improve survival and quality of life for people suffering from heart and vascular disease.lingyuint. Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) is the annual scientific symposium of CRF and the world’s premier educational meeting specializing in interventional cardiovascular medicine. Now in its 31st year, TCT features major medical research breakthroughs and gathers leading researchers and clinicians from around the world to present and discuss the latest evidence-based research in the field.

YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD

This award recognizes clinical and academic excellence in interventional cardiovascular medicine and aims to stimulate the continued commitment and dedication to both outstanding patient care and ongoing academic inquiry by young investigators.
The three finalists will become faculty at TCT 2020. The winner will be announced at the conference and will receive the award along with a $10,000 USD scholarship in the Main Arena.
Candidates for this award must be:
- Less than 40 years old at the start of TCT 2020 (September 23, 2020)
- Specializing in interventional cardiovascular medicine (interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, structural heart disease, pathology, etc.)
COVID-19 LECTURES
Submission Deadline: Tuesday, June 16, 2020 (2:00 PM, ET)
Submit your ideas and clinical data on the Unforeseen Ramifications of COVID-19 on patients and/or the cardiovascular medicine community. Concepts should relate to improving outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.
LATE-BREAKING CLINICAL TRIALS & SCIENCE
Submissions Open: Tuesday, March 10, 2020
Submissions Deadline: Tuesday, July 7, 2020 (2:00 PM, ET)
Late-Breaking Clinical Trials/Science are typically:
- First-time presentations of first-in-human experiences with novel devices or drugs
- Primary or important secondary endpoint results of prospective, randomized clinical trials
- Or large-scale, impactful single-/multicenter registries
Accepted submissions will be presented in the Main Arena at TCT 2020 and during press conferences scheduled on the same days as Main Arena presentations.
Please note that the following rarely qualify as Late-Breaking Clinical Trial submissions: preclinical studies, early first-in-human device studies, and meta-analyses. These should be submitted as abstracts or to the Call for Innovation (see above).
Submission limits for Late-Breaking Clinical Trials and Science:
- 5,450 characters maximum including spaces
- Text fields include: title, acronym, authors, category and full trial description
- Images must be under 10 MB, .PNG and .JPG files only
- Including an image deducts 600 characters from the total limit
- Including a table deducts 300 characters from the total limit
ABSTRACTS

Submissions Deadline: Friday, June 5, 2020 (2:00 PM, ET)
Abstract submissions constitute original research in an area of interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, or structural heart disease (though they may include portions of prior abstracts and/or manuscripts presented elsewhere). Clinical studies, basic science investigation, and preclinical studies are equally encouraged.
Accepted moderated posters and oral abstracts will be published online in one of the top-rated cardiovascular journals in the world, Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
Please note that reports regarding a single patient should be submitted to the Call for Challenging Cases (see below) regardless of the novelty of the individual case.
Submission limits for abstracts:
- 2,200 characters maximum including spaces (approx. 300-350 words)
- Text fields include: title, background, methods, results and conclusion
- Including an image deducts 600 characters from the total limit
- Including a table deducts 300 characters from the totallimit

We invite physicians and fellows from around the world to submit their most challenging coronary, endovascular, and structural heart disease cases. The best cases will be chosen for presentation.
INNOVATION & ENTRIES FOR THE TCT SHARK TANK INNOVATION COMPETITION

TCT Innovation Sessions
Participants are invited to submit their novel technologies relevant to the monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of coronary, endovascular, or structural heart disease. Selected emerging technologies will be presented at TCT 2020.
TCT Shark Tank Innovation Competition
Submitters are also encouraged to participate in the TCT Shark Tank Innovation Competition. The winner will receive $200,000 USD, provided by the Jon DeHaan Foundation.
All technologies submitted to the competition must:
- Address an unmet clinical need
- Have preliminary patent application filed
- Include pre-clinical or early human clinical data
