2020 JOINT ADIPS/SOMANZ STATEMENT REGARDING THE ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING 

We have been closely monitoring advisories and updates from the Department of Health and Human Services in regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety of our members, speakers, trade partners and all those who participate in our meetings is of the upmost importance. 

On this basis, we have made the decision to cancel the ADIPS/SOMANZ Annual Scientific Meeting planned for the 24-26th July 2020 in Hobart, Tasmania. 

This decision has been made after much consideration by both the boards of SOMANZ and ADIPS. We hope that this decision provides clarity and certainty going forward, and will allow resources to remain focused on clinical care.  

If you have already registered for the ADIPS/SOMANZ 2020 ASM, we will refund your full registration fee and waive the cancellation fee..

If you have been invited to speak at the ASM, we greatly appreciate your support and will be in contact with you separately. Please contact Suzie Neylon if you have any queries in the meantime. 

You will be notified about arrangements for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for both ADIPS and SOMANZ in due course.
