Dear Colleagues,
After careful consideration of the ongoing spread of COVID-19 worldwide, the SMISS Board of Directors has made the difficult, but necessary decision to cancel the live 2020 SMISS Annual Forum. Due to the numerous travel restrictions issued by medical institutions, companies and countries alike and the limited number of meeting attendees the hotel can accommodate, we are no longer able to host the high-caliber in-person meeting that our attendees and exhibitors have come to expect.
True to our focus on innovation, SMISS will be offering a fun and engaging virtual meeting over our original dates of October 29-31, 2020. We’ll have lectures from international MISS experts and top abstracts presented virtually, tech updates from industry about cutting edge products, a 3-D exhibit hall to explore and win prizes, and an on demand educational library that will become your go-to resource on all things MISS.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we were monitoring the rapidly changing situation and considering the safety and wellbeing of not just our meeting participants and staff, but their families, patients, and communities.

The SMISS Annual Forum is the only major meeting focused entirely on minimally invasive spine surgery. Other meetings may dedicate a session or two to MISS, but at the SMISS Annual Forum minimally invasive spine surgery is front and center. If you already use MISS techniques in your practice, or want to add them to your tool box, there is no better meeting for you to attend!
