Dear NASCI Colleague,
As we navigate through these very challenging times surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, your NASCI leadership team has been closely monitoring the situation and has agreed that in the best interest of preserving health and safety for our members, management team and hotel staff, we will hold our 2020 NASCI Annual Meeting virtually.
As we pivot towards planning a virtual meeting, you can expect high-yield cardiovascular imaging lectures on priority topics such as structural and ischemic heart disease, concurrent sessions for hereditary cardiomyopathies and artificial Intelligence, educational and scientific presentations, both pediatric and adult-focused, international speakers/topics, 1:1 sponsor access and more. Although we will miss seeing each other in-person, we look forward to leveraging our energy, talent, and creativity as the leading experts in cardiovascular imaging in order to provide a virtual meeting that will advance the educational and scientific missions of the North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging.
We will be hosting the NASCI BootCamp (Cardiac CT and Cardiac MR) sessions virtually on Saturday, September 12th, and have decided to make them accessible to all, without need for registration to the Annual Meeting. The general Annual Meeting sessions will follow on Sunday-Monday, September 13-14th. Further details relative to access, time, and registration will be communicated through email and website as they are finalized.
Thank you so much for being a part of NASCI, we are looking forward to a very successful Virtual Annual Meeting!
Sincerely,
Daniel Vargas, MD
