The Digital International Liver Congress™ 2020
Given the continuing impact of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and resulting restrictions, EASL has decided to transition the onsite International Liver Congress™ 2020, planned for 25–28 August, to an immersive and exciting digital event –The Digital International Liver Congress™ 2020, which will be held 27–29 August 2020.
Since 2019, EASL has been livestreaming all sessions at its events and has been providing educational content online through the EASL Campus. This experience of delivering online content to the liver community will now be stepped up to the next level at The Digital International Liver Congress™ 2020.
The Digital International Liver Congress™ 2020 will be an innovative and engaging digital event for the liver community to connect & learn via cutting-edge content.
We have structured the programme for The Digital ILC 2020 to provide optimal global reach, taking into consideration the locations and time zones of our participants. Wherever you are based – the US, Europe, Asia, South America, the Middle East, Africa, or Australia – you will be able to attend the key presentations at a time that is convenient for you. Such immersive, lively, and interactive exchanges are a tradition of our flagship congress. International participation is one of the most appreciated features of ILC and we look forward to connecting to a global audience digitally.

Should your registration remain unpaid as of Thursday 16 July 2020, early registration fees will no longer apply and will automatically be modified to full fees.
Modifications & Cancellations for The Digital International Liver Congress™ 2020
- For cancellations received prior to Thursday, 6 August 2020, midnight CET, deposits will be refunded less 25% administrative charge. After this deadline, no refund policy will be in effect
- A handling fee of 30 EUR per registration will be charged for every registration modification received after 6 August 2020.
- Membership fees are non-refundable, once purchased.

• The fees minus an administrative charge of 25% will be refunded for cancellations before 13 February 2020. After this deadline, no refund policy will be in effect.
• For any change of names, a fee of EUR 30.00 (excl. 7.7% VAT) will be charged.
• Payments will only be accepted in Euros by bank transfer or credit card. Please note that a service charge of 3.55 % (+ VAT) will apply on all reservations.

• The scientific programme book can be purchased at additional cost of EUR 15.00 (incl. VAT) during the online registration process. Order your printed material until Thursday 27 February 2020. After this date, no printed material can be ordered.
Free electronic versions of all materials (scientific programme book, abstract book, postgraduate book) will be available approx. 2 weeks prior to the congress and accessible via congress website and the ILC app.
