2020年第4届欧洲重症危重病医学会欧亚大会(ESICM EuroAsia 2020)将于2020年9月12日至13日在中国台湾台北举行，本次会议由欧洲危重病医学会(ESICM)与台湾重症医学会(TSCCM)、台湾急救加护医学会(TSECCM)联合举办。
欧洲危重病医学会(ESICM)成立于1982年，是一个非营利性的国际协会，在全球拥有超过8600名会员。ESICM支持和促进危重病医学知识的进步，特别是通过教育、研究和专业发展，为危重病患者及其家属提供最高标准的多学科护理。——未经许可，禁止复制摘录转载本站任何内容-领域国际医学会议网。
Thank you again for following our updates to the information concerning EuroAsia 2020 Taipei. Many of you are still working round the clock fighting the battle against COVID-19, and the quarantine policies are still very strict in most countries. It is extremely good to hear that there have been no new local COVID-19 cases in Taiwan for more than 50 days. Therefore, we have decided to change the format of EuroAsia 2020 to a combined physical, online, and virtual conference.
The physical part of the conference will be held at NTUH International Convention Center, Taipei. The joint annual congress of TSCCM and TSECCM will also take place at this venue. We will keep you updated on the latest quarantine policy in Taiwan on the official website of EuroAsia 2020. A new registration policy and updated programme for the physical conference will be announced soon, and we look forward to welcoming you there.
If you wish to attend the on-line conference, you will need to register first. We have decided to limit this section of the conference in order to ensure good quality internet access. You will be able to attend the plenary lectures, join the interactive sessions, and participate e-poster presentations via the on-line conference.
In order to attend the virtual part of the conference, you will need to register first. Here you can access recordings of the plenary lectures, interactive sessions, part of the master class programme, and all of the accepted abstracts. Access will remain available for 1 week after the physical conference has ended.
We are also classifying the accepted abstracts into three categories: on-line oral presentations, on-line e-poster presentations, and virtual e-posters. If you have submitted an abstract, we will ask for your availability for the on-line oral presentations and e-poster presentations. Moreover, we would like to extend the deadline for the submission of abstracts again to July 15. We invite you to join this special event and share your knowledge with your colleagues.

Momentum surrounding our annual EuroAsia Conference has been building since our first outing to Hong Kong in 2017. This inter-continental gathering has very quickly become a major event to which intensivists travel, from both Asia and Europe.
We have decided to rotate a number of important destinations to be able reach out to more and more physicians, nurses and allied health practitioners, from all over Asia and beyond and this year’s location for EuroAsia 2020 will be again the fascinating city of Taipei. In collaboration with our colleagues representing the National Societies of Taiwan (TSCCM & TSECCM), we will designe a comprehensive programme to fulfil professionals united in caring for lives.
