European Cancer Summit 2020
Working Together Against Cancer: Breaking Down Barriers & Saving Lives
Every year, the European Cancer Organisation brings together leading oncology specialists, patient advocates, politicians and policy-makers to discuss the main issues impacting cancer policy, for the benefit of citizens, cancer patients and healthcare professionals across Europe.
Despite our best efforts, it has become clear that this year’s European Cancer Summitwill be a Virtual Summit. Unfortunately, the recent increase in new COVID-19 cases across Europe over the summer and the related travel and social distancing restrictions in place, including in Belgium, mean that our Executive Committee have decided that it will be impossible to proceed with any face-to-face participation at the Summit this year. The European Cancer Summit 2020 will be held virtually on 18 & 19 November, with an extended Special Rate deadline of 30 September.
The programme will remain unchanged and will be live, allowing interaction and networking between the delegates and speakers.
