PFD Week Goes Virtual
Colleagues and friends,
The annual scientific meeting is something we each look forward to, not only to learn about new science helping to advance the care of women with pelvic floor disorders, but for the opportunity to socialize with old friends and make new ones. This year is presenting unique challenges for large groups to gather in one place and travel restrictions into Canada are uncertain.
After many conversations and the consideration of a multitude of options, the AUGS Board has decided that this year’s meeting will be held virtually. While this cannot take the place of an in-person meeting, we are committed to developing an engaging and dynamic virtual experience. We do not want to delay the dissemination of the excellent science that is presented each year and a virtual program will allow this to happen.
The PFD Week Planning Committee is currently working on modifying the schedule to streamline some aspects of the meeting while delivering both live and recorded sessions. We are excited about the development of a unique focused virtual program which will highlight a live component, break-out sessions and the ability to review any presentation you happen to miss with on-demand access.
We know this has been a trying time for everyone on multiple levels. As many of you are aware, AUGS relies on the annual scientific meeting to support many of our important programs. Thus, this year it is imperative that we have your support by registering and attending the Virtual PFD Week 2020. Likewise, we understand that the clinical slowdown has had a negative financial impact on many of you, and we plan to offer a reduced registration rate compared to the traditional face-to-face meeting. We plan to have updated information about the program schedule and registration information available in early July. Please be on the lookout for additional information about the virtual program in a few weeks. I look forward to welcoming you all to the first virtual annual scientific meeting in October!

Registrations are only accepted if the online registration form has been successfully submitted. No registration is confirmed unless accompanied by full payment.
Cancellation of your registration and refund requests for registration fees must be submitted in writing to AUGS at info@augs.org before August 24, 2020. All refund requests will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee. No refunds will be made on or after August 24, 2020.
No-shows to the PFD Week 2020 will not be refunded regardless of the reason, including conflicts that arise with a registrant’s schedule or failure to test the computer connection prior to the Virtual Meeting as instructed. Failure to join PFD Week 2020 as it takes place live (e.g., late arrivals or early departures) does not constitute a reason for a full or partial refund.
