Message from the Organising Committee
On behalf of my colleagues at the Malaysia Society of Atherosclerosis, I cordially invite you to the annual congress of the Asia Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Disease (APSAVD). This meeting would be held at the world renowned Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), on 25-26 June 2020. This meeting will bring together scientists, healthcare workers, policy makers and all who are interested in atherosclerosis, a condition that affects the entire vascular tree, and could manifest in life threatening conditions. The advancement of diagnostics and therapeutics has enabled a greater depth of research and understanding into this condition. For this congress, there will be broad areas of discussions and also special topics of interest, such as in cutting edge molecular diagnostics to vascular imaging. In addition to the scientific programme, we also welcome research from all around the world into this topic. I am sure you will find this 2-day Congress both exciting and relevant to your area of professional practice. In addition, the KLCC provides the perfect platform to discover Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia – a destination of wonders.
